Hope you find your little one soon
You're not a million miles from me, I'm in Woking, but probably too far for your babe to wander. I will however keep my eyes open as you never know!
Have you been in touch with Woking Cats Protection who are active around our area? If not I can send an email for you as I'm in regular contact with their co-ordinator?

Still no luck but advertising nationally on as many websites as I can. Stuart (09/8 /08)
I had one message on my mobile from a lady with Northern Irish accent from public callbox who said she had found my cat. She promised to ring back (7/08/08) but no further news. Hope it was sincere. Stuart.

Still no news. Have tried further searches based on advice offered by Dowsing methods and reliable local clairevoyant. No joy. 12 weeks yesterday :(. Stuart
-
I take it nothing came from the trapping organised by Woking CP?
-
Unfortunately I didn't hear anymore. But thanks. Stuart. :(

I must offer a full apology to Clarenmax for saying that we had no news to report re. the help offered by Woking CP. In fact my daughter who lives in Chertsey had contacted the local Cp for help regarding the sighting of a black cat in her garden. 'Wendy' of the local CP offered the loan of a 'cat trap' but before it could be installed, my daughter was able to confirm that the mystery 'balck cat' was not in fact Louis. We are truly grateful to the CP for their help and response. I am sorry for confusion, but I live in Somerset and my poor daughter is managing the local search in Chertsey. Stuart.

That's a real shame Stuart, I was really hoping that the cat they had sighted would be your baby
Don't give up hope
-
Still no news except for the odd false alarm. Inserting a fresh reminder advert with photo in Chertsey freebie this week. 16 weeks now.........:( Stuart :(
-
Sending positive vibes hun and please do not underestimate the power of leafleting, it brought one of my furbabies back home to us.
-
Latest advert with photo in local Chertsey freebie provided no response, not even a false alarm for a black cat! :( Stuart
-
what a shame Stuart, it must be very disheartening
-
Keep going chuck, don't lose heart yet

Still missing, 21 weeks now and it does not get any easier! I have lost my Head Mouser, my garden inspector, and my best friend. No sign at all. Just hope that he is enjoying life somewhere. :( Stuart
-
So sorry he hasnt come home yet

Eureka! The wanderer Louis has returned just as mysteriously as he disappeared. Turned up 0630am in the garden on 3 Nov (after 24 weeks to the day) under the swinging garden seat. Has lost at least half of his body weight, one tooth, otherwise unscathed. Will interrogate, but doubt whether I will ever find out where he has been. Thank you all for your encouragement in the dark times. It is very comforting to think that fellow cat lovers did not regard me as irrational. Stuart :thanks:
-
OMG, that's absolutely wonderful ;D ;D
I'm so pleased for you hun  :)

So happy for you Stuart - Louis is a gorgeous boy - a great example of never giving up hope.
-
Woo Hooo ... what a wonderful bit of news. I bet you couldn't believe it could you Stuart.
I am so happy for you :)
Welcome back home Louis
-
Good news, Louis is making excellent progress in terms of weight gain, coveted 'wet nose', general condition. The vet is pleased with the results of exhaustive examination and two bloodtests. We have still no idea where he has been for six months, but his coat was in good condition, (not matted, tangled, no fleas, or scurf) apart from being emaciated. He has returned to his demanding, cheeky ways but shows no inclination to go outside, despite a large enclosed garden where he previously reigned supreme. He is happy to be carried outside in your arms and observe the world and fresh air, but that is that. Any advice from my experienced expert friends on how long it will take Louis to adjust would be appreciated. We are content to be patient and take it day to day. His toilet habits are, as always meticulous and predictable, and adjustment to litter tray has been admirable. Regards Stuart
