I use to have this problem. I threw out the couch. Guess I should have gotten those house braking pads. LOL, I should have run into you guys years ago. I hope the person who wrote this question, I hope this works for you.

Puppy training pads under beds stops the wee going on to a surface, needs changed but can make the difference

Our old lady the late great HRH Princess Sweetie had leaking monments and we used the puppy pads under her bed on the couch and she has been gone for nearly 8 months now but we still have them under the bed on the couch as one of my pointers likes to wee on the bed, and if we remove the bed Echo Beach gets very upset as he spent 6 months of his life with HRH Sweetie and still sleeps in the bed even if it has been sprayed

I just found this on the internet....

Fact: Cats May Love Too Much

Behavior experts confirm that some cats really do experience separation anxiety when apart from a favorite person — and that's one reason a sweet kitty may pee on your clothes when you're at work. Other signs: the cat paces, vocalizes, or blocks the owner's path to the door. Left alone, she may vomit or be too worried to eat. For cats who love too much, behavior therapy can help -- along with anti-anxiety medications for severely affected cats.

Ha ! Mine did this too. Beds Schmeds! The dislodged presence of a so-called much loved article (bed, toy, hooman...) does not, ever, stop protest pee n poo.  :shy:

This is why I leave beds in situ. No point in moving, just upsets 'em even more. More change? More wee wee.  :tired:

I keep puppy pads for exactly this reason.  :shy:

Leave one of these on your gaming chair with a throw or towel over the top, this will protect your chair at minimal cost. Their bed should really stay in it's usual place when you're away from home.  :)

I also leave a worn t-shirt on my side of the bed, and one of them inevitably curls up on it.   :Luv:

It works on square footage....so I couldn't tell you that. ;) But maybe try one in the room your chair is.

It does sound like scent mixing. Some cats are known to do it if they're feeling a bit put out or insecure. Have you got anything like Feliway plugged in? A lot of multicat households find they benefit from it.
