Advice on Spot-on Wormers

I think the only spot on wormer that treats both tape and roundworm is Profender, which is prescription only. Talk to you vet about getting a paper prescription that you can use at VetUK. It may work out cheaper in the long run but the vet needs to be on board with your wishes.

I use Droncit spot on regularly on all my cats, then once a year they get a milbemax tablet lalong with their annual check up. I'm fairly happy with this arrangement.

Stronghold does earmites, fleas and one worm and think its probably round worms

We use Advocate on the ferals and it does ear mites as well

All I know is do not use anything Bob Martin!

Cant remember what was put on Sasa and Lupin last year but the one on Sasa caused a problem with her skin, never happened before but was a different one to Lupin.

The vet did both.

My memory terrible but was it you who just used Stronghold, that does one of worms too and know its not tapeworms

No, wasn't me.  I used a Frontline combo on Billy a while ago. 

I think some of the prescription flea treatments do work on roundworms, so thanks for the reminder!    Will have to double check out what treats what.

Anyone tried a combination wormer, for roundworms & tapeworms?  If there is such a product...
I've used Droncit on Billy ( the new boy ) , but it's just for tapeworms.  I think he needs treating for roundworms too, but don't fancy giving him pills.
