If it was my cat , it would have been at the vet immediately , so suggest you take him first thing tomorrow. 
Could be something bad !

You need to get him checked by a professional............we are not vets.............there could be all type of brain related stuff going on that you cant see.

...but he walks around normally the rest of teh time...no staggering or bumping into things or balance issues?

I think you need to get him checked at the vet , it can be a balance/ear problem

Hiya, so I have had Oscar for almost 8 months now but in the last month I have noticed him pacing around and around in circles. Now we haven;t moved house. I haven't moved anything around he doesn't have any other symptoms and he eventually stops but sometimes he does it for like 10 minutes. Is this a blind cat thing? He may have done it before and I just never noticed?
