Congrats - do make sure you keep dad separate, mum cats can come back into heat shortly after giving birth, and you dont want her getting pregnant again so soon.
Please spay your cat

Congratulations!

Wow, they are beautiful   :Luv:  Like Rhona says it's not until you see the scale of Mum's paw that you realise just how tiny they are  ;D

When Mum has settled down please can we have regular updates and pics, the last litter that was born to someone on here we had new photos every week.  Flora's babies all went to lovely new homes and we are missing pics already!

Well Done Mitsey.

Kerry you will need to keep other cats away now.
Be prepared for mum to move her kittens to somewhere really quiet.

Wow - I have never seen kittens so young.  Amazing wee things, particularly when you see the size of the one standing on Mitsey's paw.  Hope Mum & the kittens have a good nights sleep.  Congratulations on your new family  :Luv:

Hi Kerri,

You sound like a very anxious mother to be.

Do you know the date of conception or are you unsure?  Has Mitsey started sniffing around looking for a nice cosy place to have her babies?
I presume this is her first litter and it is not uncommon for them to go overdue with the first litter - same as humans.

When my cat went into labour with her first litter she was very vocal.  When the first kitten was born and took his first breath it was such a relief.

Good luck    :ahh:

The bottom of England, part of it is directly above Isle of White in fact I think the Island forms part of Hampshire,

i didn't catch them at it, i just realised when the mammary glands got big. When i touch her i cant really feel anything but when laying on her side i can see them moving around, today she has been acting very strange, meowing at us allot, staying near to the other cats (which she didn't do before - attacking them) she is still eating though.

I'd suggest a vet exam .

Hi again all, getting a bit worried as kittens have still not arrived, how long should i wait before i take her to the vet, iv gone from when i saw her mammary glands were bigger (which is about 40 days i think) so she should have been due last Wednesday, any time scale would be of help
