Woo-hoo, my other half, award-winning wildlife & pet portrait artist Vic Bearcroft, has offered to draw the winning bidder's cat (or a family member's cat if it’s a Christmas present) in either coloured pencil or white pencil on black paper.
The two pictures show the choices to choose from. The drawing will measure 8x10”, will be a signed original drawing, and Vic will fit it into his hectic festive schedule so the winner can have it in time for Christmas if you have someone you'd like to get it done for. It is a unique and very special Christmas gift.
The drawing is not mounted or framed (frame's don't travel well in transit), but this allows you to pick your own colour choices and frame type.
I have a wonderful other half who adores our cats and supports everything I do with the foundation.
The winner just needs to either post good quality hard copies of photos, or they can email me digital images. Please make sure that these photos are clear, ideally without a flash, and at a nice angle. This enable Vic to see detail, colours and characteristics clearly. The price we charge to commission one of these drawings is £95.00.
Here's a link to Vic's website, showing lots of animals painted in coloured pencil: http://vicbearcroft.co.uk/commissions.html
Bidding to start at £40.00 please.

So agree ;D
I am sure that David is in contact with the auctioneer but if not please make contact ;D
-
I'll happily scan it and post an image of the finished drawing (delayed of course so it doesn't spoil David's surprise!) Not sure what Vic'll be painting yet... assuming it's a cat...
Chuffed to bits this got lots of bidding on it...

Thanks Liz.....did it go to David direct or to Tan?
-
Direct to David in the US... I send it blooming Airsure, too, to make sure he'd get it on time... so annoying for him and for me!!
As soon as I hear from him, I'll post the pic for you all to see. Turned out really lovely.
