Title: Hello from hayes, west london
Post by: pinkpandora on July 31, 2009, 14:26:52 PM
Hi everyone. I am so glad I found this site. I have 10 cats now. Didn't really intend to have so many but can't resist a sob story. I have Oscar, he is white with odd eyes, a diabetic aged 15. Then comes Tabitha aged 3 - her mum is feral but she was born indoors so was always tame. Next I have Meesy, Taters and Tina - they are three little ferals (now 2) that I found in the field behind my house. They have the same mother as Tabitha. I had them all trapped including the mum and mum lives in my garden now and I feed her. Meesy, Taters and Tina are now all tame. They did have a brother called Flowa who I adored but sadly he died of FIP last October aged 14 months. I am still grieving. Then came biscuit who is now a year. Then when I was ill with pneumonia Tina escaped (she was the only cat that wasn't neutered at that time because she won't let anyone pick her up) and so I now have Bluebell and Simba aged 18 weeks old. I am pleased to say that Tina is now neutered. Lastly I have Jasmine and Junior  (10 months old) who I saw on Facebook, drove doen to Birmingham to get them, discovered they were feral but took them anyway and after ten weeks they are very tame.

Sadly last year my two old girls died of cancer - Pandora in July aged 16 and Harriet in October aged 17. Last year was so terrible losing three of my babies.

It is nice to have a place to come and share my worries and ask for advice and read other peoples experiences.
