Tiggy had diaorrhea a few days ago so I fed her chicken breast for a day or two and poos went completely back to normal. Last night she had a rather large bowl of Tuna as a midnight snack and I have come home to find a brown puddle in the tray
I don't have any more chicken breasts but I do have salmon fillets, would they be OK as a 'light' meal?
-
It's not that I don't care, it's that I don't know. If in doubt, I suppose a small portion may be the best thing??
:Luv: to Tiggy

Hi Helen,
Salmon might be too rich. Plain chicken or coley/cod cooked in water would be better.
I hope Tiggy's back to normal soon!
Marla
P.S. Isn't it annoying that stores are closed on Sunday night?
-
Thanks Christine & Marla...
We have a Tesco Express that is open until 11 so I think I will go and get her some chicken, don't want to make things worse for her.
-
Ditto to Christine's comment about small portions.
-
Mission chicken accomplished, it's being gently pan fried as we speak (well read and type!).
-
Am glad you got some chicken, I wouldn't have thought salmon was light, it is normally white fish. I always thought it was better boiled too.
-
I tried poaching it in the microwave for her a few months ago, first lot turned out alright but the next lot I did was very chewy and stringy.
When I say 'panfry' I actually I use the frylight spray and have it on a very low heat. It comes out lovely and moist with no hard outside. She is such a pampered puss, I always used to cut the edges off when I cooked it for her on the George Formby in the past!

Poor Tiggy. Hope she is feeling better soon. :Luv:
-
Thanks Amy :)
I think she is feeling better already as she just gobbled up a whole bowl of chicken, it was my fault for giving her a rather large bowl of tuna last night, it was too rich for her.
-
Thats no problem at all, Tiggy is one of my favs!!
I bet she loved the tuna though when she was eating it, just regretted it this morning!!
Glad she is eating well, Toffee would be most upset to think she is poorly, think he has taken a shine to his ginger buddy!! Xx :)

Clapton had his bowl of chicken tonight (with his fortekol well hidden) I use a spray olive oil as well.
Glad I read about tiggy having chicken and fish as I wasn't sure if I could give it to him ;D
None of mine will eat salmon - I think it may be a bit rich for them
-
Am glad she is feeling better helen.
-
Hope Tiggy is on the up and up today?
-
Thanks everyone...
She seems perfectly OK again. She woke me up before the crack of dawn by attacking my head, I got up and gave her some chicken for breakfast and I have just given her some normal cat food. Hope it wasn't too soon - oh well, only time will tell!
-
Sounding good to me - well done Tiggy ;D
