The 60 were "shared" between the local CP and Nicky (I think I put that further down on the post

) but yes she did get another 40 in at the same time and has done a pretty good job of finding homes so far. The publicity will most definitely help though!

She says the rehoming is "going alright(ish!)" I got another email this morning - from the Blackpool Gazette saying they'd run an article on the cats.

OK, got confirmation that Nicky IS working with the CP on this one - there were 60 cats taken from one house, the CP took half and she took the other half. The other cats that make up the numbers come from repossessions. She has managed to home a few already and there's been a "bit of swapping around" to make space in foster homes but they've managed!

CP HQ would usually help in cases like this by contacting surrounding branches and asking them all for help even if this means transporting - they have done so in the past so not sure why you think they wouldn't help now

I just emailed a few people but they don't know anyone looking at the moment - but they are going to ask around as well.

Flabergasted. How can she possibly cope? I can't adopt any more but will certainly help with transport run(s) if fosters or other rescue places can take any.

She has just taken into her care 53 kittens and the same number of adults. Please ask around, the poor girl is run off her feet!
