I am not sure if this helps but i think faye at pawprints is in Stoke-on-trent, may be she can help?

Only if the guy can take the cat with him at least as far as there??

he's moving to Stoke on Trent on Friday and can't take his cat with him.

Marla, I  would have thought it worth him contacting the CP where he is moving to, to see if they could take the cat in.

I live in Carmarthenshire and we just dont have any proper rescues.

There are places with dirty muddy fields and ferals but not suitable in my opinion for a proper domesticated cat used to a house.

The nearested CP branch is Swansea but they will not want to take a cat from that far away I suspect and probably are full.

Wonder why he cant take the cat with him, I so hate people who dispose of cats just like waste.

Thanks for your posts. The kitty is in Carmarthenshire so the home or rescue place would need to be near there.

Hopefully DiddyDawn will see this, although she already took 2 in yesterday. Maybe she knows someone who can help?

Must have been typing too fast! What I meant was:

He has already called many rescues but they haven't been able to help. He doesn't know what to do.

Because our company advertises on Cat Chat, we keep gettings calls from people thinking that we're a rescue, so we direct them back to Cat Chat's list of rescues in their area. I just received a call from a man in Carmarthenshire who is desperate to find a place for his 13 year old cat because he's moving to Stoke on Trent on Friday and can't take his cat with him. He has already called many rescues but has been able to help. He doesn't no what to do. Is there anyone who might be able to help?  :thanks:
