Dont think these little hisspits like me very much
First they watched from under the bed
Then it was Pull your tongue out matey and she`ll hopefully run away
Finally pretend to be an angry tiger :rofl:
Have i got a job on and not even thought of names yet, aged about 13weeks, black one I managed to get hold of and sex, def female, think tabby is a boy though not managed to get hold and check, still nursing my war wounds; managed to get a milbemax down them hidden in piece of chicken,just need to sort the fleas out :rofl:

Are they feral Teresa or just very poorly socialised?
Judging by their actions thus far I suspect mum was a Tiger with wings :rofl: definately feral and believe me they can fly when you go in their Pen.

Just popped out to check on Grace (who is sleeping soundly) and almost had heart failure, 2 Hisspits were sitting up watching something and then I realised last weeks 2 wildies Pixie and Dixie had escaped their pen and were having the time of their lives running around and getting into everything they shouldnt obviously cheered on by hisspits, good job the lower half of the outer door was closed and that they are little purrpots now. Think OH didnt close Pen door securely at tea time because he was too busy watching hisspits lashing out at me.

Can tell you I moved faster than I have moved in a long time to get hold of Pixie and Dixie and have duly reprimanded OH, good job I dont swear.

Into Day 3 of working on these and can confirm that tabby Max is a boy, am so glad I have spent time with them because although still very wild I have been able to have a good look at them and poor Max has an open wound on his scruff,perfectly round almost like he has been given a frontine/stronghold at some point, going to start him on antibiotics straight away.
These poor kittens were literally dumped on me by a nameless independant rescue but reg charity still fundraising who would not put them into their pens because they are derelict, and no one wants to do the work,turns out they were trapped because one of trustees is friendly with person who spotted them, they were brought to me covered up in a trap and I am told they were captured 2 weeks previously but had no flea/worm treatment, I now wonder if they were given pipette on back of neck which caused this as all I have given them is a milbemax each.

Have just invested in 2 packets of dreamies to help with the socialising, will see if they like them.

What's more annoying T is that if they did flea them then you could of unknowingly overdosed them! >:( :hug:

Evil and Nasty our two dumped feral kittens love Dreamies - they are now called Turbo - he's quick with his paws and little Jet ourrs like a jet engine!

Just wondering how Mabel and Max are doing? Yes I know I'm thoroughly unreasonable and Teresa should be resting up not satisfying my curiosity but they're just sooooo cute :-[ :sneakin:

In truth not spent as much time with these two as I would have liked due to Garcia needing so much attention; they still hiss when you approach but are both strokeable esp if there are dreamies about and Mabel actually Purred this afternoon, we were having lunch on patio and the kittens were talking to Aunty Ruth waa waa and of course she took them some turkey which they enjoyed.
Max`s wound has dried up nicely, will try for pics tomorrow.

And Aunty Ruth wanted to bring them both home. Mabel is the spitting image of Lexy down to the little black nose and the skew triangle on her forehead. Max has the most expressive eyes. And nary and hiss or snip when they got turkey :evillaugh: (well a teeny hiss from Mabel but she's still learning :Luv2: )

Update - Max and Mabel both Purr when you stroke them and are slowly becoming friendly kittens, they will still give the odd hiss at strangers, ashamed to say I have been too busy with others to give them the amount of handling they really need but overall progress is good.

How's Mable and Max getting on?

Mabel and Max have come on in leaps and bounds and enjoy being stroked without the dreamies, they are a good bit older than I first thought as they are almost big enough for neutering now, not sure if the growth rate is down to good diet or dreamies. Max`s neck wound healed beautifully too. Will try and get some up to date pics when time allows.

Poor Max and Mabel have been to vets this morning,both refusing food,both high temps and Max vomitting bile with blood in it, poor kittens had 3 injections each and not to offer food until tomorrow, Max showed his appreciation by sticking his claw deep into my hand when 2nd injection stung him, hopefully things will improve tomorrow.

I have been in playing with Max and Mabel this morning and as we think they are now ready to go to a new home I took some pictures for our website.....I thought you might like to see how they are doing.
They are now neutered and microchipped and have been in one of the bigger pens for some time now....this has meant we have been able to play with them much more and now they will let you have cuddles with them!! They are turning into lovely friendly cats. We still have trouble picking them up, but I am working on this!! They love to play and have a fuss and are worlds apart from the frightened hiss spits that came into the Inn!
They are so chilled that they even posed for pictures which they never did in the past!!

We have been having regular updates from the lovely new owners of Max and Mabel, so we thought you might like to see the latest and the photos that came with it!
"Just a quick update on Max and Mabel. They are both coming along very well. Max has always been a few days ahead of Mabel, but even she is now purring happily and he never stops! He sidles up to us leaning against any piece of furniture just wanting a fuss. Of course, if that furniture happens to be an open door, he simply falls over as it swings away. Mabel has found a couple of nice 'out-of-the-way' places where she can go to avoid Max at his most boisterous (she is under my bookcase in my study as I write this), but they still spend part of the day curled up together.
You all obviously did a great job with them we are reaping the benefits of your patience. Many thanks."

Thanks for posting and shrinking JS first time I have been able to view them properly because they were so large; these little ones certainly show what can be done with ferals; new owners requested and now have the original pics of when they first arrived, also sent them a link to the vid Helen so kindly did, just incase anyone hasnt seen it
