Awwwww she is stunning :Luv: :Luv:
Love your Halo Teresa :evillaugh:
-
Gorgeous lil leopard ;D
-
How stunning - she is beautiful xx
-
She is stunning ... surley she must have some slaves who are going frantic looking for her! and if they aren't going frantic ... they don't derserve such a stunner in their family.
-
Right she just decided to pose, so these are much better

Teresa she really is gorgeous what age is she?
-
Ahhhh, she is BEAUTIFUL! Is she a purebreed or just has especially defined markings? What's her story?
-
what a little sweetheart ,whats the story on this cat Teresa
-
Saffron she was found wandering down a busy road, just hurriedly put pics on as we were talking about her in cats basket.
-
She's gorgeous. Wonder what she was up to, out on her own like that. Hope she's reunited with her owners soon, or failing that, gets a super new home (shouldn't be hard - she's beautiful)
-
She is beautiful, I bet she wont be with you for long!!
-
i bet she's managed to escape and has an owner desperate to know where she is
-
she is lovely Teresa, is she a marbled bengal?
-
She`s a brown marbled bengal Dawn.
I hoped an owner would be desperate to find her,but so far none reported missing detective work continues
-
I'm amazed she isn't chipped, she is the double of my Tilly's aunt, you're right, someone must be looking for her
-
How is our beautiful Miss World tonight Teresa :Luv:
-
Ellie she is exhausted because my dear husband has spent every spare minute playing with her and gazing at her adoringly, hes even nicknamed her Toptotty.
Seriously she is fine, still no sign of an owner
-
Teresa, sounds as though your hubby is getting a bit fond of this one!
-
She is beautiful.
I guess some owners don't have the commonsense to call rescues etc if their cat goes missing. It's beensaid but theywill be queuing for her :Luv:
-
Toptotty ;D It suits her.....!
-
Aw so adorable. Keeping fingers crossed her people call. Its heartbreaking to think she's too little to have gone thru this.
-
brilliant name & by the sounds of this you going to have another permanant resident if the owners aren't found
-
No Saffron lovely as she is I dont want to keep her, nor do I have sufficient experience of the breed which is vital.
-
I agree in some respects, Teresa. But people never learn how to care for a specific breed until they have one! You can read up and discuss and get a heck of a lot of knowledge, but there has to be a "first" for a person to gain experience.
Your husband does sound very taken with her, and I'm not surprised. She's an utter babe! ;D
-
I agree with what you are saying Jackspratt, but Miss World will not be staying
-
...... Miss World will not be staying
Fair enough, I wasn't trying to get you to keep her! ;)
She MUST have an owner somewhere.
-
Hi Teresa
I love the second load of pics of Miss World "Toptotty" - she looks very healthy in her pics despite her ordeal. Any sign of an owner? Glad to hear she is getting lots of attention for your husband :Luv:
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
Linda x
-
Linda
Yet another day with no sign of an owner, I can`t believe it.
Meant to ask you what you use to groom Nova and how often? You have been a wonderful help to me already and its lovely knowing that you are there for us Thank you
-
Hi Teresa
I use a very small fairly soft brush to groom Nova (got it from her breeder) - only really a couple of times per week and coz she loves it! Bengals are generally not high maintenance cats when it comes to grooming although I seem to spend a lot of time cleaning eyes and noses ;)
I am surprised no owner, bengal or bengal cross as she is an absolute sweetheart and I am in love with this beautiful girl :Luv:
Linda x

I wonder if she's been catnapped and managed to escape! If so she could be from anywhere in the country :( I am keeping an eye on the natioanl pet register in case she shows of there. Maybe if every else can keep an eye on any lost and found sites they know about we will be able to find her owners.
-
Been doing google searches most of the night for stolen bengals, cross-bengals, kittens. Nothing coming up. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong way. Any ideas Sam?
-
Ruth
Think you are I are both struggling to do the same thing,I`ve looked at so many sites I`ve forgotten where I`m up to. I am going to go to village where she was found again today to check for posters, distraught person looking under bushes anything.................
-
Teresa I wonder if your assessment of the person who brought her in was right. So strange.
-
I didnt think bengals would need their eyes are noses cleaned alot linda, cody occasionally has a wee bit in his eyes, I suspect as he ages i may have to clean his eyes more, being semi foreign type build they are fairly deep set compared to normal type (not as much as siamese etc tho)
i only really groom cody when he's shedding a wee bit, I dont like to make his waves go fuzzy  mind you he's an avid groomer himself.
-
I didn't realize that Bengals needed their eyes & noses cleaned,(not ever having one) is it done every day as like some Persians?
Hope you find the owner Teresa!
-
No sign of posters No sad people looking under bushes, still no one looking for her
-
It is so strange and so sad that no one seems to be looking for this beautiful girl :(
I have been checking local/surrounding areas newspaper/free ads sites for lost bengals but doubt if she would have been taken from this area.
How is our gorgeous wee girl today?
-

I also typed "lost found cat" in yahoo and it brought up loads of sites which i am am just keeping an eye on.
-
Thank you Sam, Ruth and Ellie for trying so hard, it really is appreciated.
Though the little madam honestly couldn`t care less, she`s too busy having fun :)
-
i just thought when seb went awol i phoned the police station and council, both took my details so have you contacted these avenues to see if anyone has reported a missing bengal to them ??
-
I've been looking at the sites that I recommend to people:
Yes these are the same I've been searching. Just makes no sense.
-
Have had a look on the GCCF and TICA affiliated cat clubs I am aware of incase by chance someone has lost this girl. Nothing for a bengal kitten of this age has came up :(
Even if she is a bengal cross Teresa these usually sell for up to 200 pounds so am very surprised no sign of any owners.
Hope you get on at vets okay tomorrow x
-
is she a nice girl Teresa? My bengal Tilly was at the vet on Wednesday having boosters and put on a display of total nastiness that I still can't quite get over she turned into a growling, spitting biting devil and all because the vet wanted her stood on her hind legs!! She is an angel normally and I was really annoyed because the vet did that knowing look and said "well its exactly what I would expect from a bengal" I protested her innocence but i know she didn't believe me! So the point of this post is (I'll get there in the end!) do you think she might of had a bit of a moment and been abadoned because the owner thought they couldn't cope?
-
The sad thing Dawn is that based on the fact that none of us have found any notfiications of a lost or stolen bengal, cross bengal anywhere and that locally Teresa has not had any luck, it seems more and more that the chap who dropped her off was possibly her owner. And it could be, but from all accounts she's a little angel and has Teresa's OH wrapped around her dew claw. Vet visit is today so Teresa will be able to tell how she behaves then.
-
what a shame, still I suppose at least if he was the owner he dropped her with Teresa rather than leaving her by the side of the road
-
Off to vets in 10 minutes but I can tell you now she can be a proper little madam if she doesn`t get her own way,
Was thinking in middle of night if this man was owner could he maybe pretend she went missing and claim from insurance? as I cant insure rescues I dont know about this side of things
After all he would have paperwork and receipts- just a thought
-
Well if he was Possibly he could, but depends on the insurance. Most insurance doesnt cover missing/stolen, and only covers the cost you paid for the cat if it dies.
Right little madam.....oh dear :D
-
Right just back from vet, he said she looks bengal, feels bengal and sounds bengal and in his opinion IS Bengal, she was nice with Andy really seemed to like him.
After careful discussion she has received 1st vaccination but vet does not want to microchip just yet in case an owner does come forward.
Her official name on vet records Miss World Top Totty
-
i just thought of a question .... If a kitten has its full course of vaccinations then as in miss worlds case ends up with people who dont know her history and she gets the course again in a fairly short time frame from the last lot would they be more likely to suffer any more of the side effects etc ??
I suspect probably not but its a question that just popped into my head just now.
-
Lynn vet said not and the benefits far outweigh the risks.
When I handrear kittens from newborn I have them vaccinated at 5 weeks to kick start the immune system and then begin normal vaccs at 9 weeks so they actually received 3 lots, never had anything detrimental due to the extra, though the 5 week one is just flu/ent.
I personally believe that cats in rescue are more at risk of picking up the nasties so does my vet, thing is you never know what you are taking in. :evillaugh:
-
Lynn vet said not and the benefits far outweigh the risks.
Yes thats what i would have suspected but wasnt sure.
-
So she is a bengal....yay.... (sorry T shouldn't get excited, but am!!)
-
Ah she's lovely. From the lack of response it does sound as though the person who dropped her off was the owner. Shame he couldn't have admitted it as it would have saved you a lot of work!
-
Ah she's lovely. it does sound as though the person who dropped her off was the owner.
Unfortunately, that happens so often, you just know for sure in many cases it is the 'finders' cat as they know its age and name and other little bits about it. If they would just tell the truth we would still help and it would be nice to know the true background of a cat, its likes, dislikes, when last treated for fleas/worms etc.
-
Do you have the man who dropped her off contact details teresa ?
-
I think she's lovely! :Luv:
Why would people lie? It's much better to tell you the truth so as Ela says you can know a bit more about where a cat would be best suited to live. I guess it's all about them worrying how THEY'LL be viewed if they admit they don't want their pet anymore. :(
-
I definately think that some people think they will be judged for giving up a pet and if they've never done it before they probably have no idea what to expect
-
yes dawn i think that too.
-
Hurrah - she is bengal (nice to know I was right!)
-
What's the latest on this this one T? I take it no one has come forward looking for her >:(
-
No claims on her Sam and believe me we have searched long and hard for an owner. She will be staying here for a number of weeks and I am lucky enough to have the offer of a wonderful home for her if not claimed by end of April.
-
:yesss: :yesss: :yesss:
-
brilliant, good uick with the work you do Teresa
-
That's great news :cheer: :cheer:
-
Aww, that is wonderful!!
-
and which lucky person is it ;)
