I know what you mean when you talk about the meowing upto you when you have come home from work, I have that a lot but its usually because they want feeding :briggin:

I love how they just know when you need them as well. One of my guinea pigs died in my arms at the vet a few weeks ago and I was very upset. The cats (especially my 2 boys who are very affectionate) cuddled up with me whereas they normally spread themselves out round the house and Huxley and Dino kept nuzzling my face as if to say come on mum.

Well after being signed off from work for 2 weeks and spending the entire 2 weeks at home I really have had some quality time with my cats and going back last night to work (night shifts) really had me missing my cats - they all came running to me this morning when I walked in the door.    I spend tons of time with my cats anyway but its really been intense time with them since I've been off and felt really sad at work tonight.    I left them saying "look after daddy" but most of our cats are mummys girls and even my hubby knows that.   Before I go to bed today all of them have been sitting around me on the pc and rubbing up against me - really has made me feel loved  :Luv:
