So Magnus has had his first experience of proper snow today. He saw it from afar the other day, but didn't really want to go out in it.
Today however.....
He tippytoes through the snow....

...to his bench....

...then tries to work out how he can get from here....

....to his other bench, without treading on the snow....

...finally realising he can't, hetakes the plunge.....

...and decides it's not so bad after all (he'd be the litle black and white dot in the patch of melting snow)...

Meanwhile George, who doesn't go out, was sitting on the windowsill watching (and as usual not the least bit interested in actually going outside).
I brought in a snow covered brick so he could join in and didn't feel left out.
This is how impressed he was with it....

Love the photos. Thought I was daft bringing grass in for Bonnie - but you're bringing snow in!! :evillaugh:  Love it.

 snow covered brick - you daft devil :evillaugh:
-
I know.
I originally put the brick near where he was sitting and he just looked at me like I'd gone nuts* and jumped down.....
*this was repeated when hub got home

I love Magnus tippy-toeing to the safety of his bench :Luv2: As for George and the brick...

Don't blame him for staying in either. I wonder what cats actually think when they first see the snow. They get up one morning and their whole world is completely different. Must look and smell different, no wonder they are hesitant.

Just love the brick and the tippy toeing
Freddie, Billy and Noni agree with George in the main. Hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread but I was drawn by title as this pic has snow and cats :evillaugh:

Love the snowy brick
I'd have done the same thing had Maxy not ventured out himself on Monday :evillaugh:

I hope Bonnie didnt need that grass because of all the Chloe-cakes she had eaten ? (http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,22243.0.html)

No, Bonnie just loves grass and she is never sick after it. She never asks to go out but sometimes if she does run out when I open the door she just has some grass and quite happily comes back in the house. I've not tried any snow. Maybe we should all bring snow in for our indoor cats. :Luv2:

This (the avatar) is my Winston 2 months ago.
You want snow? We got snow!
-
well... that didn't work.
No matter.
You likely have seen enough snow by now. I know I have.
