Hello I am in Harrow too. Have you tried Barnfield House Vets? We use them now after moving from Medivet in South Harrow who we were unimpressed with...

Another place to ask is a small local pet shop................not Pets at Home!! They have their own vets service I believe.

You could try looking in a cat mag or on the web for (reputable) breeders in your area, and ask some of them which vet they recommend. Breeders may not have their cats spayed but a vet that is good at other ops etc should be good at spaying too.

You wont find any vets on here promoting themselves they would be too darn scared to say they were a vet cos we would bombard them with questions

Absolutely, a bit like if you are a doctor on holiday or out for the night, if someone says what do you do you say I am a lavatory cleaner.

Hi All

our cat is 7 months old. We would like to find a special Vet surgeon. This not because is something wrong with the cat. But we had a very bad experience with vets before. We live in Harrow but prepared to travel. Price is not an obstacle.

If you know someone who is a real cat specialist who does surgery for years and have a great reputation - could you please post his/her name here with a little story to let us justify (dont want to be rude but people sometime promote themselves in the internet).

Thank you
