Missing: Gypsyville, Hull, Yorkshire. My adorable 3 year old kitty 'Codex' has been missing for over a month now. She's predominantly white with black markings (black 'mask' covering ears and one eye plus a black tail). She doesn't have a collar as the little minx just takes them off, but she is chipped. She's very friendly and vocal.
If you find her, please let me know. She's greatly missed.

Sorry to have to welcome you to Purrs at such a worrying time
Have you seen the hints and tips for lost cats here: http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,305.0.html
Hope that you are reunited with Codex very soon, such a pretty girl :Luv2:

I do hope that Codex comes home

Thank you for the kind words and thoughts. Thanks for the link to the lost hints. I've knocked on neighbours doors, posted on so many forums and FB pages, put leaflets through doors and posters up. I have to get more printed now. Need to do some ringing round too.
I know I'm biased but my little girl is such a cutie. Missing her like crazy and my old boy Sam is being extra clingy. He's like her big brother and I keep telling him to go out and find her but sadly no luck as yet.
*keeping my fingers crossed though*

Have you put her details/checked on here?

Hi Heather,
She is indeed on the National Pet Register here: http://www.nationalpetregister.org/mp/42583.htm.
I'm also checking the found ads to see if she appears.
Thanks for the link though. Any other suggestions gratefully received.

I'm so sorry your lovely cat is missing, hopefully she'll soon be home again

Codex is now home. I got a call from a local vets who'd scanned her when a lady brought her in.
So happy!

Fantastic news, a definite dancing banana moment! :yayyy: :narna dance: :yayyy: :narna dance:
Hooray for microchips! Going by the date of your post she's been gone nearly three months, do you know how long she'd been hanging around the lady who took her to the vets?

Woo hoo ... excellent news. The best early Christmas present ever.

aw glad she is home finally ;D

I guess she'd been there a little while as the woman had been feeding her. Frustratingly she was found at the opposite side of the estate I live on across a very busy main road. I never imagined she'd be over there and surprised noone saw my posters. :-(
Still she's home now. A bit skinny, but I can soon fix that. :-D

So pleased she is home and safe ;D ;D
