Title: 2 Cats Missing from Same House - Glenrothes, Fife
Post by: madkittyrescue on December 03, 2007, 16:30:49 PM
2 cats have gone missing from the same house in the Caskieberran area of Glenrothes.

The first is Tolouse. A female, all black cat 15years of age. Neutered, not chipped and no collar. Tolouse does suffer from Hyperthyroidism and Irratible Bowel.

She went out at 9pm on 17th November and has never returned.

The 2nd cat to go missing is Treacle.

Treacle is a 1 yr old Female, long haired Tortie (Grey, ginger & White) White underbelly to nose with tabby markings on her face.

Treacle went missing after going out at 7am on the 25th November. She has not been seen since. Treacle was not wearing a collar and is not chipped.

If you have any information that may lead to the whereabouts of Tolouse or Treacle then please get in touch.

Sam - Was me that put them on NPR and other sites  ;)   ;D

Do you think that a wellmeaning neighbour may have thought that the cats were being neglected and maybe relocated them? A hyperthyroid cat could look neglected to someone who doesnt know its ill.

unlikely I think.  Quite a friendly neighbourhood and the neighbours have all been helping in the search and a few of them saw the youngest the next day in the area.  Always possible...  you never know!   I'm sure there are many people who take in cats thinking they are doing a good thing for a stray... but in actual fact it belongs to the person just down the road! :)
