Sheryl, my Bengals whiff like crazy especially one. The breeder told me they are renowned for runny poo & odorous wind...

Ruby had to stay overnight at the vets & she asked me what I was feeding her on as she smelt so bad. All premium foods! The vet said she needed investigating as it wasn't 'normal'!

Mr T would like me (as his Purrsonal Secretary) to assure you that cats DONT fart - they just purr from BOTH ends of their bodies - sometimes simultaneously

That sounds like something my mum would say. She always tells me "lady's don't sweat ... they glisten!  Racehorses sweat!"

Horses sweat, men perspire but ladies only glow!!  One of my Grandmothers favourites ....  and she didnt fart - she had the odd "botty-pop!!" :briggin:

I'm pleased to say that none of my cats have been great farters so I'm spared the consequences that so many of you have to suffer

You just don't know what you're missing Susanne

Oh yes - cats definately pass wind.  Nothing as whiffy as a Bengal Fart

Apart from an Aby fart ... Zephyr can fart for England and he stinks.  He saves the best ones for when I pick him up and he's hanging over my shoulder with his bum at chest height

All in the best possible taste!!   Gizmo was known as King Chuff ....  Mr T can be a bit whiffy if over-excited ..... and I remember this from school .......

Blame The Dog

A fellow goes to pick up his date for the evening. She's not ready yet, so he has to sit in the living room with her parents.

He has a bad case of wind and really needs to relieve some pressure.

Luckily, the family dog jumps up on the couch next to him. He decides that he can let a little fart out and if anyone notices they will think that the dog did it.

He farts, and the woman yells, "Spot, get down from there."

The man thinks, "Great, they think the dog did it." He releases another fart, and the woman again yells for the dog to get down.

This goes on for a couple more farts.

Finally the woman yells, "Dammit Spot, get down before he sh**s on you."

Yep all my boys do a 'silent and violent'

   I've never heard that before.  I must have been lucky because I've had cats for over 30 years and never been on the receiving end of more than the very occasional fart.  Dogs on the ther hand............

Toby cracks 'em when he wants to be left in peace or when he pounces on a toy.

Pearl just........ farts.

Kitten food is the work of those with a sick sense of humour. Dave used to let one off every five minutes when he was a kitten and they were evil

Since putting them onto really good quality food the farts ahve diminished significantly, Dave only letting one off occasionally. Chilli produces the most horrific smelling poos though

Alice is a little fart ass  :Luv2:

Never hear them but I certainly smell them  :evillaugh:

Blaspheme!!

She is not innocent!!!!

I just got in and was assaulted by "that smell"

I assumed it was coming from the tray in the kitchen at the end of the hall but it was clean. I went down to the basement and both trays had "cowpats" in so it was in stereo  . It was one of those times that I was glad I didn't bring anyone in the house with me

Hello all - may seem a strange questions ...but do cats pass wind?

I have never been aware of this with cats but know from dog in my hcildhood that when dogs pass wind it whiffs to high heaven - well every so often when Nina is on my lap i could swear she must have passed wind as there is a bad whiff not too disimilar to the smell my dogs used to emit!!???

Possibile or not?

Never known it with the boys!
