This is a really special auction prize.
Yasmin says .... I have been drawing informal portraits professionally since 1995 and over the years I have exhibited with groups and individually in a variety of locations. I especially enjoy drawing wild and domestic animals, although I have also been commissioned to draw people, buildings and cars.
We have on offer an A4 portrait mounted and framed.
The winner will have to provide Yasmin with pics of the subject and will laso need to pay for postage and packing (approx £7.50) This P&P is not included in the purrs total .. it is to be paid to Yasmin.
Obviously due to nature of this prize you won't be getting it before Xmas for Yasmin has promised to get it to the winner as quickly as possible.
To get an idea of Yasmins work please check out her website ..... http://yasmincolemanportraits.wordpress.com/
Yasmin would normally charge £95 for this type of commission so please bid generously.
PLEASE NOTE The portrait would just be for the one cat. If you would like two together and you win the auction you can negotiate for the extra puss and Yasmin would donate some of the extra fee to Purrs. Yasmin x
Starting price £20
PICTURE IS JUST AN EXAMPLE OF THE TYPE OF THING YOU CAN WIN:
-
Wow!
Do you know if the portrair can be of more than one subject eg two cats in one portrait? Edit: I would like to point out I did read the listing before asking this, Sam edited the original one after I posted this :naughty: ;)
-
ooooh £21
-
Sorry, Tiggy's Mum, it would just be for the one cat. If you would like two together and you win the auction we could negotiate for the extra puss and I would donate some of the extra fee to Purrs

Oh Wow! Rosella - that's just beautiful. The texture is amazing and you're right - it is a perfect capture of Freddie.
And wonderful to see that the picture has brought joy to all :evillaugh:

OMG I must be psychic (or should that be psychotic ).
The picture is gorgeous you must be really pleased with it.
-
It's wonderful Sam :blow kiss: I stroke his nose each time I pass him by :) :) :)
Yasmin is a very talented lady.

-
That's fantastic! :wow: Such a beautiful boy :Luv2:
-
Oh My Gosh, Rosella, he's beautiful. Fair brought a tear to my eye, precious boy.
I chortled at Noni and Bobby in the box but my heart almost stopped when I got to Boris :cccooorrr: :o .
He truly was sent by Freddie, truly.
Yasmin has really caught him, I'm very moved. :)
-
:thanks: so much for lovely comments. I did/do love me Fred to bits and am delighted to say I still easily recall "the feel of him" not least coz of me powder puff, demon boy Boris :naughty: who has so many of Freddie's traits; dorable boy :Luv: and naughty bad lad :naughty:
Both complete individuals in their own right but out of the same pea pod :)
-
Ladies
Thank you for all your lovely comments. It was a pleasure to draw Freddie and I'm glad I was able to do this for such a good cause.
I'm currently working on a pair of beautiful labradors. There's a work in progress slideshow about four posts down http://yasmincolemanportraits.wordpress.com/blog/ (http://yasmincolemanportraits.wordpress.com/blog/)
