wish me luck... I'm just heading off to the far side of Edinburgh to pick up 2 young babes... don't have too much info at the mo... will update when I get back with piccies hopefully!
-
Good luck with the little ones x
-
Hope they're not as young as my latest arrivals - if they are we can keep each other awake for the night tinme feeds. :Luv2:
-
well I'm just back with the little darlings and they are :Luv2: so so gorgeous.
A little tortie and white female and a little ginger long hair boy both are very sweet and about 6 mths old-ish. In all honesty I actually think they were her cats and not strays but hey ho... when do we ever get the truth! :tired:
will get some piccies soon!
-
That should have been in the list for rehoming reasons - not all strays are what they claim to be :shify: - unsold kittens? :shify: - better they report them than tthe alternative I guess :)
Last year a woman reported a stray that had a bad eye. After speaking to Sharon, we asked her to drop it off at her local vets. She said "After you have sorted it's eye out, neutered etc, I'll have it back`' - We asked the vets to get her to sign a handover form - needless to say, she didn't get it back :evillaugh:

Yes, we normally say the cat gets signed over and any cat picked up does not get returned. During the summer one cat was picked up and taken into the vets, quite poorly and very thin. Looked an absolute mess. The family that had picked him up claimed he had been straying for a while and while with us he had xrays and unltrasounds and special food all to find the cause of his dicky tummy. Turns out he had a food intolerance. The family kept in touch and said that they were worried about him and having been in their house only overnoght before being taken to the vets they were quite taken with him and wanted to adopt him.
It was decided that yes, he could go there and it was explained about special diet etc. When the family came to pick him up, he greeted the husband like and old friend! My radar went into overtime! >:(

Fingers crossed for these two.
