I don't even remember taking this but it is recent - it really is how Kylie looks to me in reality if that makes sense?

Edit - I do remember taking it now  :evillaugh: - Kylie is a sultry girl  :Luv2:

I love the picture Rosella took of Toby when she came to collect Noni. He has such a calm look about him; and he always was......I miss him.

Oh James - Mog's a laydee doncha know! ;) (It's alright, I won't tell her!) She does have awesome whiskers; they've been dubbed fairy whiskers at our house after a friend called them that and it stuck.

Rosella, must be something about white smudges under noses - Old Mog's like that too. Leigh, love the picture and the slogan!

Lucky RIP  (my daughters cat)  - King of all he surveyed - lying on the sofa where I used to live

He was top cat, pampered to within and inch of his life towards the end and he deserved every bit of it.  A truly sweet natured cat, he would make all our "fosters" feel at home - im sure he showed them around, just as if he was Lord of the Manor, and helped them settle in  :Luv2:

Then this is specially for you Dawn  :evillaugh:

How to Photograph a New Kitty

1. Remove film from box and load camera.

2. Remove film box from kitty's claws and throw in the bin.

3. Remove kitty from bin and brush coffee grounds from muzzle.

4. Choose a suitable background for photo.

5. Mount camera on tripod and focus.

6. Find kitty and take dirty sock from mouth.

7. Place kitty in pre-focused spot and return to camera.

8. Forget about spot and crawl after kitty on knees.

9. Focus with one hand and fend off kitty with other hand.

10. Get tissue and clean nose print from lens.

11. Put dog outside after disengaging kitty's claws.

12. Put magazines back on coffee table.

13. Try to get kitty's attention by squeaking toy over your head.

14. Replace your glasses and check camera for damage.

15. Jump up in time to grab kitty by scruff of neck and say, "No, not in the potted plants!"

16. Clean up mess.

17. Sit back in chair with lemonade and resolve to take 'candid' shots instead.

Or:

How to Photograph a New Kitty

1. Remove film from box and load camera.

2. Regain control of the camera. Wrap strap so it doesn't dangle.

3. Stop kitty from scratching couch.

4. Choose a suitable background for photo.

5. Mount camera on tripod and focus.

6. Spend 1/2 hour finding kitty, who says this is taking too long & he's bored.

7. Place kitty in pre-focused spot and return to camera.

8. Observe lovely shot of kitty washing own posterior. Restore kitty to sitting position.

9. Focus with one hand and toss catnip with the other hand.

10. Get bandaids for catnip hand.

11. Walk backwards and focus as kitty follows you, swishing at ankles.

12. Pick yourself up and check for broken bones.

13. Try to get kitty's attention with fur mousie.

14. Take mousie away from dog & put dog in another room. Scratches on dog's nose don't look too bad.

15. Fetch kitty from litterbox.

16. Bring kitty back to chosen spot for one more try.

17. Quickly snap shots of blurred fur.

18. Sit back in chair with lemonade and resolve to stick to still life and scenic shots.

---

Hope it helps,

Cheers

Leigh  ;D

Just a couple of the Clan Cats

Nothing unusual this is a kitten photograph of Miss Nortie Tortie Beijing who was the soul survivor of Gems litter - Gem died from FIP and Beijing is a Corona virus carrier - Archie the little white and black soul was used as a football and has some brain damage but together they are our youngest feline members of the Clan cats, much loved and wanted and for all the picture shows just a couple of cute kittens as they were meant to be - they are also the saucer terrorists in the morning nicking anything their paws can aquire of the older cats! :Luv:

The second photo is one of my Black hand rears Cougar he is now nearly 4 and thinks I am his mother totally he is always by my side and only tolerates his daddy! :Luv2:

Also showing is Blue a feral I named whilst waiting to hand him over for his op at the vets - he had never had human interaction and ended up with major surgery after finding a major hernia and one ball up inside he has now been inside thanks to my soft touch of a husband so much for TNR and loves the cats and the dogs, the breakfast saucer in the morning, cat milk its just the humans that pander to him that are the issue!

The pohoto's show Blue coming home after surgery and then 2 months in to lfe at the Clan Cats homestead

You're doing a great job looking after her at 25, my first cat Tibby was 26 when I had to make the horrid journey to the vet.  :Luv2:

awwww Tibby  :Luv: he/she?  was a fantastic age!  We've only had Byron 3 years this year Mary, her owners thought she was the boy and her brother the girl so they kept the wrong names, she has a cauliflower ear from ear problems in the past.
Byron says thanks for the lovely comments, I keep asking what her secret is Gillian but she's not letting on  ;)

Bet you wish you'd had her longer.  My mum and dad got Tibby from the RSPCA when I was 2 months old and she was probably about the same.  Wish I had more photos of her but no digital cameras in them days.

Hope you have her for many more happy years.

Thanks Pav  :) from what I remember her elderly owner(s) went into hospital/rented accommodation and her and her brother were taken to Wood Green, her brother died shortly after and Byron was there about 4 years until we adopted her.  She slept nearly the whole 3 and half hours home and settled in as if she'd always lived here  :Luv:

When I asked they said that both Byron and Jim weren't that bothered with the other cats, just sort of did their own thing, I don't think they shared the same hut either.  We had to go and sort of give Byron a nudge, she was in her bed and I can still remember now Jim walking towards the kitchen area  :Luv2:

What a good thread. Any excuse to show off my babies!

One of the few pictures of Chilli that actually look like her, if you get my meaning. The stretching in an "I own you" sort of way is her all over!

Dave the rave has two sides that are his essence. First is the smoochy mummy's boy, he just loves his Meowmy :Luv: Second is his naughty, motivated by food at all times side, seen here breaking into the treat cupboard and stuffing his face!
