Update on Jorie

Just a wee update on Jorie for you all... as she has had one helluva week the poor wee thing!!!!   :(

Her neck all puffed out again due to a build up of fluid that just wouldn't stop getting bigger so we took her along to the vet on Wednesday who drained out about 8mls of fluid which took it back down.

Then BANG!  straight back up quicker than ever so this morning I've had to take her back in and they fitted her with a wound drain so poor wee thing is rather spaced out as they had to knock her right out to do it.  Bless her and she was SO good  :Luv2:  she never even got mad at them or anything.  She is just such a loving wonderful little cat she really doesn't deserve all this   :(

She'll have the drain in until at least Monday / Tuesday which we hope will be plenty of time for the fluid to stop building up and for it to heal.  So she is resting quietly for now recovering from her ordeal this morning.

Also had another wee chat over with the vet about the results and there is a very high probability that the tumour will return and most likely in the same place or area.  Although apparently not unheard of to appear elsewhere such as the lungs!!!

Fingers crossed it doesn't appear... but at least we know to keep an eye out for it!  Bless Her.

Just keeping our fingers crossed that things start going right for this wee star!  :Luv2:   :scared:
