Poor little lad ... the indignity of having someone poking his bits :(

According to the vet and vet nurse, it can happen but is more common in dogs.  Poor Midge did cry bless him and it made it worse because he is still nervous around strangers and it must have felt most uncomfortable for him   They said if left, it is harder to get back as it dries out, luckily he was still slightly lubricated.  I'm going to keep a close eye on him and hopefully it will stay in place.  Typically it's nearly weekend and I work weekends so I'll have to get the kids to keep an eye on him tomorrow, if he needs the vets it's not so bad as the boss is away this weekend so I can sneak out  ;)

Took Midge in for neutering yesterday, he's a semi feral and over the last few weeks he's become extremely loving.  I noticed this morning what looked like flesh sticking out and I thought they hadn't cauterised him properly.  Managed to get hold of him a few minutes ago and whizzed him down the vets.  The flesh was his penis and it had twisted round and he couldn't get it back in again.......poor babe  :(  Anyway, the vets managed to get it back in but I've got to keep and eye on it and even if it pops out in the middle of the night I shouldn't leave it til morning in case it swells up.
