Same here Marie! I was crying to. Marilyn gave me a hint that the 1st book was upsetting but i never thought what happened would. It was a shock on that next page. Painfull to read cause same happened to my Ochi lad.   :brokenheart:
Had loads of laughs with it too esp when Otto was on the roof and Marilyn was off to work !!!  Shouldn't laugh cause that must of hurt but she wrote it sooo funnily!!

I was exactly the same with all 4 books .... they are all great reads though :)

Ok, I ordered this book a few months ago and have finally got around to reading it.  I finished it at about 1am this morning.  So there I was on the sofa last night and my OH looks over at me and says are you alright cause the tears were rolling down my face.  I couldn't help it, not only was the book sad and you genuinely feel for them and wish you could change the story as you are reading it but it also describes exactly the emotions I felt when losing my own cat.  The good thing is you turn the page and as sad as you are a few minutes later you can't help laughing as you read about the kittens venturing out of the bedroom for the very first time.  I have ordered the second book today and have a feeling I shall be reading it as soon as it arrives.
