I have just been sent these links about stolen Bengal cats:-
http://www.animalsearchuk.co.uk/view_lost_pet.php?petref=ALP32241 - not microchipped!
http://www.animalsearchuk.co.uk/view_lost_pet.php?petref=ALP32239 - microchipped
http://www.animalsearchuk.co.uk/view_lost_pet.php?petref=ALP32238 - not microchipped but is neutered
http://www.animalsearchuk.co.uk/view_lost_pet.php?petref=ALP32243 - not microchipped!
Stolen from their owner seemingly a breeder/show person. The neutered cat may well be dumped because they cannot breed from him.
-
2 of them are neutered Hun, they are pets of the Grandaughter from where they were stolen - absolutely heartbreaking
-
I am glad you spotted that two are neutered. In a way that makes it worse, in that they may both get dumped. I guessed it was an owner who cared for them, having got them neutered and then still holding on to them. My heart goes out to the owners, his family and obviously the poor cats. :'(
I have posted it on FB as well. You never know where these cats will end up, it is a shame that micro chipping wasn't carried out. A cat could always escape, out of the pen, from a car in the event of an accident etcetera. :-:
I do hope they find them soon. If you hear anything, would you please post on here?
-
I posted about these 4 in the lost cats section last night so if you want to merge the threads please do - the 2 cats that are not neutered are stud boys. So sad that they are not all microchipped - the moroms that stole them probable thought that the 2 neutered boys are girls >:(
-
Sorry I hadn't spotted your original post. If I had I wouldn't have done a double post on the same subject. However, I suppose if I hadn't seen it there someone may see it here? I was only notified today and that was the first I knew of it, hence my post this morning before I vaccumed the cat room as I felt the urgency to let cat folk know as soon as possible.
I realised it was a breeder, but one with a heart as he had retained his ex breeding stock and taken the trouble to neuter them too.
It is a terrible situation poor things, humans and cats. :'(
-
The breeder definately does have a heart Hun - they are fully registered and highly respected.
-
This is heartbreaking - if they are dumped - please be it at a rescue entrance. I just cant bear to think :'(
-
Think I saw on CC that one of the cats has been found and taken to a vets. And if I recall rightly it was the microchipped one so hopefully back with the owner!! Have not seen any more updates on the others. :(
-
A further update from CC:
Another has been found. He was taken to the same vets as the snow marble. He's been very poorly and is skin and bone, but, he's improving. ..........
........it's her 'Imperial Grand Champion', one of her 2 stud boys.
-
Good news on finding the poor mite fingers crossed he pulls through :(, hopefully the other 2 will be found ASAP
-
He was found at the Buidwas power station nr Ironbridge and is still in a very bad way - on a drip at the vets who is very concerned about his liver.
Keeping everything crossed for this special little boy and hoping the others are found soon xx
-
Bless them - I hope the other two are soon reunited with their Mum -
-
Great News - Akidi the second stud boy has been found and apart from a patch of fur missing from his neck he is okay - he has been living in a Pub near Telford for the past week.
Baracus is slowly improving and gaining strength after his awful ordeal
Fingers crossed that Leo is found safe and well.

so does that mean three have been found?

An update that Shirley has posted on CC earlier this evening:
Do you remember the 4 Bengals stolen from their pens in the garden on 23rd APRIL? 3 of them were found in not the best condition, but the last one, Leo, turned up YESTERDAY!!!! Unbelieveable!!!
He was behind a butchers in Much Wenlock and the butcher took him to the vets as he thought he looked like the missing one! (He gave him some cake and cream (!) to catch him and closed the shop to take him to the vets!! What a lovely man!) He's a little plump so someone's had him but what a fantastic ending!
Chip had moved to the side of his neck!
The owners must be delighted - well done that man
:cheer: :cheer:
-
That's fantastic news! :wow: Just goes to show that if your cat is missing you should never give up hope :)
