Update:
Homing suspended - details below:
On arrival at the vets Penelope was found to have an extremely fast heart rate and my vets are concerned that she has Thyroid problems. She has also got very rotten teeth and a pus-filled ear.
Penelope will be fully sorted before she leaves us, but if she does have thyroid issues it will mean meds for the rest of her life.
Her whiskers are singed. Looks like someone has held a lighter up against them. >:(
Also, due to the check up being with the rescues vet they've realised that although this girl looks young she's actually closer to ten than the originally estimated six months!

Oh dear - something is obviously going on. Sending  and positive vibes for this little cutie. She is in good hands at Furry Friends.

She is Edd. Emma is where I got my spiny mice from and the small animals get as much thorough checking up as the companion animals. She's very devoted to what she does, but readily admits she knows less about cats than dogs.
