So upset about CC. It's been a big part of my life for 3 years and i am going to miss it terrible.

It's just not the same on different forums but if we all can keep in contact on other forums and here, when hopefully CC comes back we all will know!
What a day that will be.

Thanks sooooooooooooo much to CC towers for all they have done.

I will still be reading the CC cats diary every day to keep up with the wonderful Col, Gemini and pickford.

You know, I found it so annoying that they didn't inform you mods much earlier so you can set a new site up sooner.

It now seems everyone is over the Hover. It was annoying to see Abby was so enthusiastic over getting new members.

Last night I think we were all so shocked - we just all want somewhere we can keep going. Cat Chat was like a huge extended family. It's so kind of Abby to have made space for us on The Hovel, and for Tan and her hubby to have set this site up.

I suspect user-friendliness will play a big part for us displaced persons.

Absolutely gutted about CC ... I don't have that many friends in the real world and CC was a very special place to me. I was in floods of tears last night when I heard it was closing down and now we have all separated off onto different sites.

Ela I think most peeps allow for rubbish grammer and spelling online..i know i do. my own is terrible here where as i would not post a letter without re-writing atleast 3 times or until I had a decent copy to send.

many of the times we are trying to type in place of speech and at the same speed..it just isnt so easy to type as it is to speak, esp if you have my experience of the latter ;)

Phew thank you Tan... I was in a right state after recieving an email this afternoon to say CC was closing, I thought it was a joke... I started to panic as you guys have been such a help to a newbie kitten owner and I thought I was going to have to cope on my own :(

I'm really going to miss the place, I was always popping in whilst at work although I may not of posted much.... I hope we can be happy here until CC come back.

Its really good we have somewhere to go but the change is weird. The habit of clicking on the internet and automatically going to CC is going to be hard to break.

Me too Tan - Even though we are all here is's like our mother ship has gone. I have has to set my CC page to the daily diary,as seeing the closure page is too upsetting.

I suppose (sigh) until CC comes back...if it does....this site will have to do. Not disparaging this site, just homesick for CC. Haven't really found my way around here yet. For example, how do I put my pick on when don't have own URL (still working on my website)? And how do you put those great pics into the msgs? Someone has a smiley msn thingy of an animated cat. Can't work out how to insert those. Can do this :Crazy: But that's my limit.

However you can put a picture on here exactly how you did on cc and to add any smilie you go into reply and there they all are, you just click on em and post! If you want the moving cat and others click on more and it brings up all the rest in a new window.........well on my puter..........and just click on em in your post and bingo you have smilies :really:

Also you can get coloured writing, different fonts , moving words , just clicl on symbols and type word between the brackets ]type here[
