Title: Tabby and white cat

My old tabby and white boy, Loki, used to have a tabby splodge in the middle of his white belly/chest.  I thought this was cute and unique until I got Genghis, who's ginger and white.  He too has the same sploge on his white belly/chest (but obviously this time it's a ginger splodge!).

Is this coincdence or do most tabby and white cats have it?

Oooh, so it is - she's gorgeous (I'm just guessing she's a girl - no offence if he's a boy :))

I'll have to post some photos tonight so you can see what I mean.

half right, the black one is a girl. His Smidgen-ness is a boy, well, he was once  :evillaugh:

Xanthe has an all white belly, though she likes to disguise this with the help of some tabby arms!  :rofl:

I didn't even notice her before!  I thought she was his shadow, but now I see her eyes :)

Ok,  I couldn't find one of Loki displaying his splodge :( but here's one of him and Maisie when they were kittens and you can just see it (I circled it in red).

Wow, I love the difference in their size and fluffiness!  Is the big one a breed?

She's gorgeous!  Loki had a tabby bit on his back leg too - I love unusual markings like that :)

They are both Norwegian Forest Cats  :) Pinball has just turned 5 months old (left) and Bilbo is 3 years old in a few weeks hence the size and coat difference between them as Pinball has only got his baby coat at the moment

Maybe it is just a spooky coincidence that I've had two boys like this.  I'll be examining any tabby and whites I come across! :)

My boy has a spotty tummy! But then he's a kind of smudged tabby.

Oh and I was letting him chew on my hand to get a pic of his lovely tummy, being a kitten sitting still is a rare event.

Izzy is a splodged tabby + white as well and she's got a spotty belly

Lola is a torti and has a white belly with ginger blob in the middle  :Luv:
