Judith has her at present. her owner just wanted rid of her NOW. At least she is safe and warm at Judiths now. semilonghaired black.
Judith has quite a few photos owing me for the website so hopefully she may even get round to taking one of the new one (HINT!)

Do you know how far gome she is Angie? Hope the pregnancy and birth goes without a hitch for her :hug:

no piccies yet to post but saw some photos at the metting tonight. We are calling her sophie from the purrs list of names.

Sophie is now staying with me in the relative calm of my bedroom, aka the nursery.
She is eating well and getting bigger by the day. Hopefully she will wait a while longer until she has her babies so she can put a bit more weight on. Judith has done stirling work at getting her looking so much better in such a short time.
She and her babies will be off to Auntie Bren`s in a few weeks, when she is back off holiday, for socialising and general pampering.

Sophie is still hiding her babies under her lovely long black fur :rofl:
The longer she waits, the better she is looking. She has put weight on and is much happier all round. Hopefully the last few weeks with good food and rest will pay off when she finally decides to have her babies.

Sophie is still without kittens, but getting more rotund by the moment. She is happy in her little nest, eating well and chucking litter around like a good un!
Hold on Sophie until Bren gets back from hols this weekend ;) so she can take over midwifery duties.

Sophie has been very kind to me and waited for Brenda to come back off her hols to show her babies.
She will be going to Brenda`s tomorrow night to continue her confinement. Just told Brenda that last time she had 6 according to the owners. Poor Brenda is putting the kettle on ready and stocking up on towels, just in case!

I hope that cat has her legs crossed and your fingers are firmly crossed Nicky! It is still few hours until she goes to Brenda! :evillaugh:
I am looking forward to seeing how your hard work of feeding her up has gone towards making lovely chunky kittens! :)

Sophie moved in with Brenda last night, looking very fat and ready to have her babies.
Bren phoned this am to say she had started labour about 9am, and by 9.25 was the proud mum of two, with more on the way!
At the last count this afternoon she has had 7 :wow: babies, all black. Mum is very tired, but doing well to feed her new brood.
Well done Bren and Sophie.

bren is still without pc but just spoke to her and all is well - count is stil 7.
however, judith has been also having an interesting day today ;)

not sure about Bren! I think she was shopping mos of the time and last time was at the hairdressers!
still, as she is still without access to the computer, I can say what I want about her! :naughty:

:Crazy:Back amongst the living now, new laptop installed and I'm learning. Sad news though, the littlest, last one born just faded away last night. It hadn't really fed properly and in fact when born Sophie didn't bother with it - I just thought she was tired, but perhpaps mum knew. anyhow, we have six beautiful black kittens, identical as far as I can tell so no point in naming them!!! I'll try to put a pic on but don't hold your breath.

:welcome: Back Bren! Mum looks the picture of contentment. She certainly looks a chunkier girl than she did when she came in to me, and all the food here and at Nicky's has certainly helped. :Luv:
I think you have done great, with the cat, kittens and computer! Sophie hasn't done too bad either. :naughty:

;D Was able to have a good look at the babes last night. I'm pretty sure there are 3 of each, boy/girl. 4 have white hairs under their chins in varying shapes and amounts and two of the boys are all black. So, I've thought up some appropriate names. Splash, Dash, Flash and Dot all have some white hairs, Ebony and Jet are the black boys. I'm not sure yet whether any of them have long hair like Mum. It'll be a while before I get to put the right name to the right kitten but I think I may be able to start weighing tomorrow as Sophie is becoming more relaxed about me handling them. Sophie herself is lovely, eating well and all systems functioning properly.
