Carol, I can't wait to find out who has a new home - this is wonderful news.

Hope Teresa draws some strength from this, and the super-huge hugs and vibes we're sending for her.

Went to see T today.   She's on IV ABs again and on-demand oxygen and is in a lot of pain but I was able to lift her spirits by showing her a picture I had taken a couple of hours earlier of a long-term Paws Inn resident looking very serene in a cat carrier, all ready for the journey to a lovely forever home.  ;D  ;D  ;D  I wonder if you can guess who it is.  ;)

Debbie and I cried our eyes out as we waved good-bye, then T cried when I told her so I joined in to keep her company and no doubt there will more tears tomorrow when Debbie goes to visit T.  You wouldn't think we were all over the moon would you.  :evillaugh:

Hoping T is back on form soon. Strong lady, that one.

Not sure she'd appreciate it, but there's a song called Fighting Trousers, and it always makes me giggle....so here it is:

Haven't been able to visit T this week because of a poorly but its better now so will be going on Saturday.  Apparently she is very much up and down at the moment.  She has her 'usual' pneumonia but they think something else is going on as well and keep changing her medication in an attempt to get it under control.

Sending lots of  :Luv2: and    with a generous sprinking of come home soon vibes.

Don't want to speak too soon but have just heard from Debbie that one of the long term Paws Inn residents is having a visitor this weekend.   ;)  Fingers crossed.

MacBeenz has been working very hard to develop his Locatur whikskas - him's not as experienced as his predecessor, but what he lacks in experience he makes up for in enthusiasm, and he wants to let Aunty T know he's sending the strongest Squeewheewheee's he can muster to help her keep her strengff up.

Daisy and Bella are an absolute delight. No "accidents" outside the litter tray since yesterday morning and this morning there were 2 piles of splat and one perfectly formed lump so hopefully we are winning.
Carol came yesterday and took these pictures.
Seems like the girls may be hungry

Modified to say how delighted we are with Wilbur, many will remember him as poorly neck.

Mystery of tent is solved, had a strange man on phone asking for my son who hasnt lived here for ages, strange man asked if I had a fishing bivvy  well I thought the man was a maniac having no idea what a bivvy was ,so I ended the call and phoned my son,it turns out he had ordered this thing and when it didnt turn up got in touch with the supplier who phoned me. Strange thing is son had changed his address and parcel was addressed to me.
Son can now get in touch with company and explain, I will be glad to see the back of it and promise never to accept strange packages again.

Alison I go back and read about different cats quite often  it does save on soap and water

Teresa, hope you can get to the  bottom (excuse the pun  :evillaugh: ) of Bella and Daisy's problem.

I've just been reading Minimopsical's story  :) Yet again I've been sat in the office trying to hold back a tear or two. I really should know better than to read these sort of things when I'm in the office.

Whats that I wonder maybe photography

Must confess to people that the first time Carol came here I was full to bursting, immaculately groomed cats /kittens everywhere and Carol ends up in a Pen with Star and Sabrina 2 curly tailed kittens who just happened to need dirty bums washing

Teresa, you make me smile every day. Thank You.

Yes, I'd love to be able to shin up a tree again, too. Not gonna happen but I enjoyed it when I could  ;D I'm grateful for my mobility, things could have gone so badly  for me when I had my big motorbike crash (erm yes I've had several), but thankfully I still got my arms and legs and they do work to a degree. I wonder at your achievements, T, you really are a marvel.

I'd be inclined to flog the tent and use the cash for the Inn. It must be a nuisance. You planning any tabletop sales soon?

As for Winston, can you get a photo of him for that spot? At least your Yucca would get some peace.  :shy:

Debbie sounds an absolute diamond - albeit one with an aversion to Vaseline  :-:

Hope the girls get better soon, they're sure in the best place with you. Pictures please when they are back to BW (not yellow).

Jealous of Wilma or Rob?  :evillaugh:

Olly has finally mastered his park and ride system,he simply sits and waits for Rob to send it upstairs in the morning

Yesterday seemed such a busy day with Debbie and I trying to complete an important proof read before 2 new girls arrived, fortunately the girls were a little late and we finished most of the document.
We then had quite a rush doing jobs before taking our new girls to the vet. Debbie did most of the work but please note I was left to apply vaseline to their bottoms
The girls were brought here because they have a problem and owners can no longer cope, both have diarhoea and both refuse to use a litter tray, seems things had got so bad they were running round the house dripping everywhere. They had been taken in 3 weeks ago from a BSB and fair do`s the people had tried.Anyway trip to vet new medication, change of diet and faeces sample taken in this morning will hopefully help. Both are delightful though one is timid, they currently have stained yellow fur in places due to so much trotting but they should soon feel happier and revert to black and white, they are about 5 months and called Bella and Daisy.
Rob continues to make good progress with Wilma who really enjoys her strokes, I am jealous.
Missing Winston like crazy and keep talking to the yucca palm where his Pen used to be, perhaps I need a distraction like finding out where this wretched tent has come from

Must admit this tent has me worried, someone has spent good money on it.

Well this morning I tootled into the bathroom to find 3 yes 3 cats in my bath, last night I had dropped a pink hair bobble and you`ve guessed it 3 cats decided to have a football match in my bath,is nothing sacred one asks oneself; were these cats kittens No it was Olly age 9years, Anastasia age 13years plus and Tula age 15 years  Got my own back by leaving stairlift folded up and walking down stairs oops ended up on my butt and hurting my arm
Sheila this stairlift may be fun for the cats but I want to go back to the old me,the tomboy who could climb trees and do anything to save a cat.

Hmmm, Theo goes a step further and likes to put his front paws on the seat watch the whirlpool as it goes down - you try telling him not to!

I've tried keeping a valerian toy in there as a distraction, but he still likes to sit on my knee.

Lucky Anastasia, very soon you will be going up the stairs with a bunch of cats sat on you hitching a lift. I hope you are feeling better, and not overdoing things.
A tent is a strange thing to be sent, not much use for keeping cats in either!! Maybe the wrong thing was packed up?

What is it with the toilet and cats wanting cuddles?? Wordy has mega cuddles in the morning when I'm on the loo. He actually walks straight to the bathroom when I get up, and has started pushing the door open for me!!! I have to pick him up now or he will jump and accidently scratch me!!

Anastasia continues to get a tiny amount of exercise by dashing to the stairlift  We were half way up on Saturday when we spotted poor Olly looking jealously as if to say thought this was to be my park and ride. Really Anastasia is being quite naughty because when we reach bathroom shes up on my knee as soon as undies come down, I really need some advice on this How is one supposed to wipe oneself with a cat on their knee  ok funny but also very serious problem.Think I may need to put her up for rehoming. ;)
Debbie and new helper Natalie spent the afternoon cuddling and playing with the cats and gave the wicked Anastasia a good grooming   at least I can get upstairs without sneezing.
I should own up to Friday when poor Carol came to do her weekly chores :rofl:things were so bad she ended up on the floor with her head in the oven   poor Carol arrived to find me near to tears and a trail of devastation in the kitchen, I attempted some pie making and ended up with eggs leaking everywhere
Rob has been allowed to stroke Wilma after all these years, I am so delighted but feel a little envious. Since the deaths of Monica and Hettie Wilma is to be found in the greenhouse cuddled up to Milly.
Chelsea has become a wonderful loving cat but will still go mad if another cat is spotted.
Feeling a bit down this morning, parcel man came with a huge heavy parcel addressed to me,I almost killed myself getting it into house, its a tent, now who in the world would buy me a tent, yes its brand new :Crazy:I thought perhaps it was for my great escape to sunnier clims but then realised I couldnt carry it and certainly couldnt get down on the floor Any ideas  do you think its possible the Cats have decided on a camping holiday without telling me   :rofl:Should add no invoice or anything to trace where its from, just my name and address on label.
Still no sightings of Sparecat.
