I guess it wouldnt be Christmas without a large collapsible Pen in my living room   Back from vets and My Boy  has had antibiotic jab for ulcerated mouth, vet checked leg for me and says there is trauma to it but thankfully not broken. I have spent all afternoon handling and calming this little one in order to save vets fingers  he is not feral the story of him being thrown into garden a couple of weeks ago makes sense.Age 8-9weeks weight 0.6kg.
Heres a couple of pics isnt he gorgeous.

Well done Aunty T seems your get on the trap vibes are working better than mine still nothing so have moved 2 out of the 4 traps nearer home as I saw a pair of eyes last night when I was shutting the traps down, know it wasn't one of mine as all the Clan cats were in and the outside crew were all sniggled enmasse on the heat pads when I stuck the torch in

My only suggestion a large dog crate, if I catch anything the guest ensuite will be back in use

Well done T.   Wish I had some suggestions as to where you can put him/her but as you say - no room at the Inn.  :(

Maybe Helen (Tiggy's mum) will read this and offer to take Barnaby off your hands.  :naughty:

Kitten is safe, dont know where I will put her/him as no room at the Inn.
Currently in my living room in a crush cage very wild and howling for England. Vet appointment at 4.50 today.
I cant explain how very relieved and happy I feel.

Thankyou all so much for your good wishes.

Nothing here overnight and I checked my traps in a blizzard, yup we are mad Aunty T but the end result is rewarding my poppet only has 2 more days as we are forcast heavy snow on Friday so can only hope they/it goes in the trap in the next 2 days as its only 2 fields away as the crow flies it can work out there is food and warmth up here so the outside ferals are eating lots of smelly fish food

Liz I never had a wonderwoman outfit but  I have my thermal vest on. Am not overly concerned about cold with kitten as she/he is under shed and decking so probably much warmer than me
I think we need putting in the lunatic assylum, I mean freezing ones butt off, going without food, worrying oneself sick and what for so the little darlings can bite and scratch us when caught

Back home , no kitten and freezing cold, infact we didnt even see kitten tonight, theres always tomorrow if I can get a helper as Rob cannot afford to take another day off. At least we have left lots of food in trap and man is going to spring it at midnight, he will of course ring if kitten is trapped before.

Teresa walk away fromthe wonderwoman outfit, leaving a trap isn't so bad surely the homeowner can check it for all your trouble not so much to ask

Sometimes we can't help them all despite wanting to save them all, I have 4 traps set and will check after I have sorted out the clan can't be in 4 places at once can only hope something goes in the traps and will deal accordingly

Also we can't be held responsible for the folks who do this kind of thing we can only try and help with the mess they cause

Sending good trapping vibes from my traps to yours xx

Yesterday I felt so good,we had won the save a life draw with the late Busters ticket and then put the money towards our winning auction bid the kitty scratching post, today I feel so ashamed to be human and so heartbroken for these kittens.

You cannot take on the burdon of shame of the whole human race but I know what you mean.

Sorry I wasn't able to help today and such a pity that the neighbour didn't believe the lady who saw the kittens dumped.  :(

I have everything crossed for a successful outcome to this tragic situation but if you don't suceed in catching the kitten I know it wont be for the want of trying.  You are a star.

I am at home if I can help but I have no car its still in the garage, so will need someone to pick me up.

only just seen this  :thanks: Julie

rob and I been out trying to trap kitten all afternoon without success, its freezing out there and windy. Spoke to a neighbour who saw dead kitten yesterday and she said a lot suddenly made sense.A few weeks previously a woman had been knocking on doors claiming to look for kittens she had seen Yobs fling from a car,the people thought she was up to no good!! its a posh area.Yesterday when 1st body found they realised woman had been genuine.
Anyway I have spotted kitten twice we are certain its black but not sure if its 1 or 2 kittens because in one position it looked 9weeks ish then it looked bigger. It was crying loudly though,so distressing. Its not trapped just very difficult to get trap near enough.
The garden backs on to a horrendously busy road and I am worried sick, so worried I have broken my own rules and left trap set, though to be fair it is secure, am going back later to try again simply must catch her/him
Yesterday I felt so good,we had won the save a life draw with the late Busters ticket and then put the money towards our winning auction bid the kitty scratching post, today I feel so ashamed to be human and so heartbroken for these kittens.

Well just taken a call thats so heartbreaking and now I am sitting here waiting for someone to ring me as I need some help, lady could hear crying and found dead kitten in her garden she assumed that was end of it, now theres more crying and at least 1 kitten trapped under her shed/fence, she thinks they have been dumped from road and become trapped, looks like first one has starved to death. I need new lungs, new joints and a bloomin miracle, poor poor kitten I will do my best.

Hope all the babies at the Inn are being good.  Is 1st December today, so the countdown to Santy Paws coming begins.....  :shify:

Note to self:  Must remember to tell MacSquee about "bein gud fer Santy"

Aunty Suepoo Paws Inn monsters are always good  Not sure if Santypaws will be coming ,pawcats keep being outbid at auction  they send  to Macbeenz

Debbie kindly took me to vet with Sundays arrival Barnaby, we dont need to worry about his tremors so hes had first vaccinations, we were rather shocked that his weight is only 1.5kg,some of  holy terrors are well over 2kg and more than a month younger than him.

Had 2 lots of updates on Sundays rehomings of Willy,Pixie and Herbie- all good.

Helen Barnaby was found terrified near a pub last week,we think he is a farm kitten, we have been told that a gardener went to farm for 4 kittens, put them in his boot and when he got home half a mile away they all jumped out and ran off, it sounds more like they were dumped in Cheshire countryside to me, other 3 not seen since, time will tell. We didnt have space when lady rang a week ago so she hung onto him for us, his wormy belly is huge and I am a little concerned about a very minor head tremor but vet will check him out.

Fab news about the triple rehoming, if only more people wanted three!  :wow:

Teresa you are taunting me with Barnaby, you know how I feel about gingers :drool; How come he has ended up at Paws Inn at such a tender age?

Helen they are ready for own entries now, all had first vaccs and ready to go in pairs, must get Carol to start write ups.Just wondering if you can copy the pics you want from here.

OK great, I'll get cracking with temporary entries for them. I can use the pics from here that Julie has posted to get them started but as they're resized they're a tad on the small side. I've PM'd Julie to see if she might be able to email me the actual pics.
