Little Weed greeted me wth a cry for food this morning and when request given she tucked into it and polished dish clean, shes definately on the mend, think her sister Flower is a little jealous of all the attention Little Weeds been getting.
Not mentioned Baby Bea for a while, she has pu on weight and is thriving, she loves to be stroked but is terrified of the floor so tomorrow she is moving to a "bottom" Pen where she will get used to seeing kittens playing and more importantly realise that humans have legs
All else fine apart from yours truly been overdoing it a bit but will soon be ok again.

Its been hard work but well worth it, Little weed is much brighter now and although I am still syringe feeding she will lap small amounts of kitten food. Not weighing her till Sunday when Debbie comes but am sure she has put at least 1gram on

Sue we came up with babes from woods names before I saw your post, they are Dandelion and Burdock, will save your names for future kittys  No help till Sunday so cant realy manage photos til then.

You are so good at names, but reserves must be running low with all the  kittens that you've had over the years.

Hope Little Weed continues to improve.

Teresa - just a suggestion for Babes in the Wood, but given their sylvan start, how about Rowan and Sorrel?

Sending gentle little snoozles for Lil' Weed.  C'mon sweetheart.  We want you to grow big and strong in Aunty T's excellent care.

Whats the promise?? Is Annabel getting a new home?  :)

Nicky

Sadly No Reserve yet. Annabel is still available.

I have separated Little Weed and her sister as Flower is bouncing all over her and thats the last thing a poorly kitten needs; I now have 2 collapsible Pens in my living room set side by side so the girls can see each other. Still syringe feeding Little Weed, how very apt her name is,10 weeks old and 500g her previous owner needs whipping. She is still so very poorly but am doing everything possible for her and I think their is a teeny improvement.

Babes from Woods very happy and grateful for their Pen; am so weary of naming kittens

Sending lots of positive vibes for Little Weed and a big  for you.  I'm sure the babes in the woods will thrive in your care.

Good news about Lark (have to confess I don't like the name either but I know you do).  Poor Annabel overlooked again.  :(   You'd better tell her I'll keep my promise.  ;)

I`m shattered

Little Weed perked up a bit last night but was down again this morning so we have been back to vets, Andy said he could see progress but she has a long way to go, he is very concerned about her kidneys which seem very large but says time will tell, just syringe fed her again and madam is sitting watching me type.
The Babes from the woods have settled ok so far and seem to have recovered their ordeal, both black/white 1 girl and 1 boy and please dont anyone mention Hansel and Gretel
Think I may try a catnap now, just to see what its like of course

Morning Teresa.  How's Lil' Weed today?  Sending little snoozles for her from me and Mac.    So these Babes in the Woods, then - more like Teens in the Timberlands?   :evillaugh:

Tiny babes from woods are not so tiny, more like 12-14 weeks

Just given Little Weed another syringe feed she thanked me by piddling on her clean vet bed, we have brought the girls into the living room so I can give more attention throughout the night, probably wishful thinking but I swear she looks a teeny bit better.

This mornings viewers have just reserved Lark but expressed that they dislike the name and will change it.

I am so sorry the people were so short sighted they could not see the charms of the Inn's residents

Ditto  :(

I love my boys to death and there's no denying they are nice looking cats with lovely colouring but I love them for their little personalities, not their colour. Blacks and black & whites (and of course torties ) are no less loving , funny, endearing and special than the gingers/greys this couple were hoping to take their pick from - in a way if someone is that shallow that they will only go for certain colours then they're not special enough to have a Paws Inn cat

Hope the juggling goes OK and look forward to hearing about the babes in the wood

Viewing well Rob stayed home and showed the couple round, sorry but they cant cope with Annabels colour they expected to have a wide variety of greys/gingers to choose from   Rob has suggested they go and look around rspca. dont know whether to laugh or cry.

Just to make matters worse 2 kittens were dumped in the woods, have been told they are tiny 6 -9 inches long so they are coming here and I have no Pen space, come on T you can juggle space for more black/whites

No change in Little Weed am going out to syringe feed her now.

Rushed to vet with Little Weed this morning she is very down and doesnt want to eat,no temp and nothing obvious, Andy agrees with me that we could lose her as she has had everything bad since day 1 and despite everything being good now unlike her sister she is not progressing. I am syringe feeding AD but Andy is very concerned that she is close to having an intersusseption so afraid we are walking on egg shells.
So its fingers crossed and hope we get it right.

Sue dog was Pom Pom  and the program was on in 1958, doesnt that make you feel special

Well today has been horrible, non stop phonecalls asking me to take cats in that are just not emergencys and some very nasty people at  the other end of the phone, I refuse at least 3 cats everyday but today officially became autumn when folks believed it was time to report the stray who turned up last April so today my refusals have hit double figures. So wish it was 1958 again and I had Torchy to look forward to.

Got a couple coming to view the cats tomorrow, so fingers crossed although with me doing the viewing when I can barely walk to Pens I dont hold out a lot of hope  This damp air is not good.

Cats/kittens all doing well though we are still concerned about Flower and Little Weed who still only weigh 700g and 500g at 10 weeks old

Missed my daily fix of Meerkat Manor today and I am left worrying about the outcome of the latest conflict between Whiskers and Lazuli, guess I shouldnt watch TV
