Aw Teresa.   One of those bittersweet times for you - seeing your little charges off to new homes makes the time seem like it's flown, even though I know it's what you wish for with each new litter you take into your care.       Paddy is purring like a tractor at the thought of his speeshul    He's had "shtaek" for brekfuss this morning and is getting ready for a little snooze.

Wasn't the weekend weather lovely/  So pelased the Outside Run Gangs were able to take full advantage.  Paddy supervised the planting of some of his fayvritt violas and had a little nap in the sun while I worked around him.  :evillaugh:

Good on Lark for being such a grand little Mum.  Not surprising when she has such wunneful lil babies!   ;D

I waved a fond farewell to Florrieflankett and Gertiegannet this afternoon,it doesnt seem 2 minutes since I left that hospital bed to bottlefeed them, Bigboy and Tigerlily are off on Thursday so need to find somewhere wonderful for BettyB and Fussypussy as well as all the older kittens and adults.
Lark is proving to be a wonderful mother and is such a happy little soul, though her toilet habits are over enthusiastic to say the least, she loves to dig and dig and dig so we are thinking of giving her a giant litter tray.
All the cats/kittens with outside runs have enjoyed the lovely spring air, roll on summer.
Speeshul Paws  for Unkle Paddy and Aunty Suepoo

I am very touched by the name jip. Will tell dad tomorrow. Great names for them all.
Hope your not overdoing the baking, painting etc.  I did  some on Monday, flapjacks and coffee walnut muffins. Yum. Pete doesn't like the muffins so I'm wading through them! It'd a chore but someone has to do it.lol

Well I have sexed the new arrivals, no glasses on and a senile old brain so all I remember is 3 of one and 2 of the other  thankfully they feel more substantial than yesterday.
The dwarfs have enjoyed yet another baking lesson, chocolate cake, coconut slice, almond slices, fruit slices and cheese scones, remarkably they are more interested in the chicken curry I have been preparing for tea
The painting is almost complete and new blinds are up in the isolation block and I am really pleased with it, crisp, clean and bright; we do have another 4 sets of Pen doors to paint still but cant do them yet because we are so full , also new babies mean no paint.
I am supposed to be preparing photos and info leaflets for fundraiser in Pets at Home in couple of week and so far all I have done is think; Claire will not be pleased with me

What amazing pics! Hope the little monsters put a few grams on quick

I love that pic with the food bowl - and what I presume is Rob's tentative paw  - the little tabby tiger leg poking out from mum's care is too cute for words.

Probably for the best that there's no blacks in the bunch else I'd start plotting a catnap  :evillaugh: ....although I must say that Lark is a stunner  :shy:   hope she's doing well after her exhausting day - and hope you're doing well too T!

Thanks Dawn and Jiji, Lark seems to have stopped at 5 babies. I will admit to being rather worried, although the babies appear normal size they feel very underweight. Lark is however being a very attentive and protective mum which she wouldnt be if things were very wrong, needless to say I will be watching closely.

I am amazed that there is not a single black amongst them.
Dawn and Claire best hand your money over

Proceedings at the Inn have been brought to an almost standstill this morning with one thing after another not going to plan.
Madam Lark decided to start giving birth just after 5am, the time we normal begin mucking out, needless to say her Pen cannot be cleaned as she is still very busy, last year was the year of big litters am hoping this year will be different but alas ....
Kept trying to use my nebuliser and phone kept ringing and I ended up spilling neb all over laptop and then laptop died for a while or at least until I turned it upside down and banged it hard  sad but true, afraid I am a no nonsense person.
Right need to go check on all these new babies who I refuse to go to specsavers for ( hint as to colours there ) also need to start counting
