Lovely pics T. Its Grace and her babies who do it for me, although I have my eye on one of Bonny's kittens as well.

Hope today is a good day at the Inn with everyone well. Sending lots of positive vibes for Dusty and her mumT to be back where they belong soon.

Rob just came in for afternoon visiting to bring me the bad news that little Minnie died this morning. Vet Geoff managed to take bloods which reveal a lack of white blood cells and point to liver problems, he has sent off the parts needed for post mortem and hopefully we will have answers by Friday.
Rob spoke to vet Andy re first kitten Peace who died last week, Andy did PM and results inconclusive but indicative of Leukemia.
Melody, Minxy and Marmite all appear well and are eating well.

More bad news Dusty who took a bad reaction to her vaccine is now hospitalised on a drip and having blood tests, though she is not in danger.

Thank you to everyone who has posted,it really is appreciated, its just so hard being here and unable to do anything.

On the plus side we have lots of babies who have all opened their eyes for the first time, 3 of Chelsea`s and 6 of Bonny`s, I am told that Graces kittens are having practise boxing matches and that Daisy and Mac are wonderful as are Sweetpea Marigold and Kenny and all adults and of course Twinkle.

Sorry for the Loss T its never easy when they are so young

Having been through the heartache of a brother and sisiter mating and loosing Mum Gem and 3 of the kittens - Star, Cairo and Shanghai it was a devestating time here at the Clan but on the bright side I have darling Brodie her brother and my ginger chin warmer and gems most precious gift her surviving kitten Baby Beijing a.k.a Baby Gorgeous so sometimes they let some stay this side of the bridge

Hope you are feeling better today T and planning the big escape again - PS what is the attraction feral cats at the ward windows or a nice looking doctor!

This is so sad. I really hope the little one pulls through but can understand your cynicism. If Mumcat and Dadcat are so closely related, the genetics are likely to be weak I suppose. Really hope the little one can fight her problems.

A 3rd kitten has gone down and is hospitalised, vet is checking blood sugars this evening, it is looking as if it is something inbred. We do not hold out much hope for her.

It may well be the case ,yes Shirley you read it correctly, I have instructed Rob to arrange a post mortem; I take all my charges very seriously and this is just too much of a worry right now.We lost the smallest runt last week, yesterday it was the biggest brightest happiest girl of the litter.I am lying in bed worrying myself sick and waiting for tonights visiting wondering what I will face.
