The not knowing the cause will be giving you cause for worry as well as the actual loss of the little one.  Sending much love your way Teresa.

Not good news, another of Melodys kittens was found dead this morning, vet called out yet again nothing found to be wrong.

The news from the Inn is encouraging, Chelsea has not eaten Robs fingers and seems to have reached an understanding with him, I hope so because I have told him he needs to get in and check 3 babies eyes. Graces 4 kittens have had their first taste of solid food today. Daisy and her son Mac are thriving; Bonny and her 6 kittens think they are in heaven they are so grateful for everything. Melody and her remaing 4 kittens appear to be eating well. Christopher and James are now happy to share a food bowl, Dusty at long last is eating wet food, Marigold,Sweetpea, Kenny dalglish are all fine as are Twinkle, Ginja Ninja, Noodles, Grasshopper, and all the adults both domestic and feral.
Been given some booze to use for prizes on Open Day which is a blessing so all in all things looking up.Rob is full of how wonderful Bonny is, he says the second he opens the pen she is there for a fuss, we werent able to get a box to put babies in so they are on vet bed and tend to roll about Rob says Bonny simply picks them up in her mouth and drops them ontop of the heap of sibling kittens. This little mum is something very special.

I'm so relieved to see your update T and I'm sure as are many other Purrs forum readers!

Scrumpberry and Scamp are currently chasing each other around the sofa and pictures will follow once they decide to stand still
They will be joined on Sunday by Scratchy (my friends kitten whom I've previously mentioned who's coming to live with us) so hope they're not going to mind sharing a 'hot young man'! Scamp/Chico's met him before and they hit it off straight away so here's hoping all will go well!

Sending you stacks of  and vibes,

Sarah

PS we have family over this weekend but I'd love to come over and scrub some more cages at the Inn sometime very soon!

It was not overdoing things that got me back here but the extra strong length of elastic the nurses attached to me  seriously I have been told that even if I had stayed in bed the problem would have arisen however I will be home in plenty of time for Open Day, doc says maybe end next week.

The important updates
Rob tells me all the cats and kittens are doing well, I think he is quite enjoying caring for so many mums and babies,he is really smitten with the little mum and her 6 kittens we rescued from the oil drum on Tuesday, I suggested we call her Olive, turns out she is called Bonny, I told him she was skin and bone not bonny he replied she would soon be Bonny when he had fed her up  Even Chelsea the semi wild mum is being good for him. He tells me Grace and babies are fine and Daisy and Mac are wonderful. He is coping with medicine for Melody and her litter and tells me the 4 girls have been climbing the pen bars and running around like hooligans. All others are fine.

I know you hate it in there Teresa but please stay in for as long as possible, seems to me that they keep letting you out too early and it's not doing your health any good

I have just spoken to Teresa and unfortunately she is back in hospital,  she was rushed in last night by ambulance,  she has Pneumonia and is very weak and in a lot of pain,   she is online and will try and post and reply to PM's but it may be a few days until she is up to it.

Do you know all T could say was at least the Mum and 6 babies were saved yesterday,   I am full of admiration for such a special lady.

We are also not to worry as T has given specific instructions to Rob on what each cat needs  :Luv2:  she has also assured me she will break out before the Paws Inn open day

Kittens are cuties, but Mumcat is STUNNING! I seem to have a bit of a soft spot for not only pure blacks, but also cats being allowed to have kittens way too young. :shy: She's got a lovely pointed face, hasn't she?

Hope all the feline family at Paws Inn are doing well and the same applies to the hoomans. ;)

WOW T, do you ever stop!!! Such an amazing lady , thank God for you!

Latest mum with babies is very sweet-hope they'll all be ok  :Luv2:

Sorry to hear the bad news but hope all are well now.

I've taken a tabby to the vets this morning on behalf of CP, after a lovely lady had coaxed her into the house a couple of weeks ago.  Thank heavens she did-she was about 2 weeks pregnant  so was spayed last week. She also had ear mites.  She was so tiny-i would've thought about 6 months max but vet reckons she's about a year old! Doesn't bear thinking about if she hadn't been found........... :(

Bravo Teresa!    :wow: :wow: :evillaugh:  You're indefatigable!  A credit to the Royal Navy in a Horatio Hornblower kind of way.  ;) ;D  You will find the way!

They're gorgeous.  poor Mum looks a bit scared yet relieved - and aren't her babies beautiful!
