Some RSPCA branches are doing it for free at the moment

Our RSPCA never do it for free, when someone adopts a cat from them they do give a £10 voucher towards the cost, of course that was included in the adoption fee. If anyone else asked for vouchers they always put them on to me.

thought the cpl used to ask for benefits evidence but had noticed you do not)

They were supposed to  of course I never did, I always wanted to get on with it ASAP, too much messing about for me. also as previously mentioned I would give a voucher to anyone anyway as long as they had their cat done.

If you're on benefits or a low income you can get vouchers from animal sanctuaries.

Cats Protection have amended the rules and nowadays you do not have to be on benefits /low income to have a voucher, although we hope that people will be honest and if they can afford the full cost they will pay.

If you're on benefits or a low income you can get vouchers from animal sanctuaries. I've got one for when the time comes for Jasmine, which means I'll only have to pay £10.

Wow, another person from Shaw - am there myself on Wed, we are sorting the stuff out in the garage to work out what we have to sell!! I have pm'd you with a couple of vets, one is in Shaw, one classed as Rochdale, but only about a 15-20 min drive. I am about 8 miles away from the Rochdale one, and it cost about £8 in a taxi.

I am fairly close to you actually, near Rochdale, and I foster for a charity near Shaw. I dont know how much neuters cost though, as we are a rescue so get a discount, but will pm you with the name of the rescues vet, they are classed as Rochdale, but not far from Oldham. If they are too far, I will have a chat with the rescue I help out in Hathershaw for theirs if you like?

Please book him in to be neutered asap - you are very lucky he hasn't sprayed, but you are also going to save his life - unneutered males are at risk of testicular and prostrate cancer. 2 neutered cats can happily live together, as long as the introductions are done correctly. As for cost, what area of Lancs are you in?

advice and help needed please

hiya again.

could really do with some advice. i currently have a 2 year old ginger tom who is my pride and joy :Luv: i have recently thought about having him neutered (probs not his idea of fun but hey   :))

anyways i was wondering how much i would be looking at? i realise different vets and areas charge different prices etc but just in general.

and also my fiances sisters cat has recently given birth to a litter and one in particular has caught my eye. buuutttt im not sure if my cat will take to it?? do you think neutering would calm him down any? he doesnt spray at the min and isnt exactly dominant.

could 2 neutered cats live together happily even if they are bought together at different stages of their lives? or would this be unfair on my furbaby?
