Cleo looks alot better this evening and was extremely verbal when I went in bless her.  Her eyes look better so the drip is obviously making her feel better.  She's still not eating but Sean said he wants to keep her on the drip for the next day or so and see how she is.  Thanks for the good vibes,

Cleo is still on the drip and still not eating so she has to stay in.  I'm going up shortly to see her, they said she's comfortable so we shall wait and see.

It's funny because you always think it will get easier taking them in but it never does, and it's made it worse because I thought I'd get to bring her home tonight  :(

Cleo has been kept in on a drip  :'(  She had a bad reaction to the sedative so it had to be reversed quickly, luckily they got some blood and a swab but there's nothing obvious with the bloods that she's had done today, have to wait and see how she is tomorrow now and wait for the swab results.

Cleo is in this morning with her Uncle Sean, hopefully he can get to the bottom of what's going on with her.  She's going to have her bloods etc taken this morning and hopefully we can manage to get her through whatever it is.  She was crying in the vets but a pitiful cry which set me off, I hated leaving her and I just hope I don't get a phone call saying it's bad news  :(  I think she's going to need fluids but she will probably need sedating even for that, she's not exactly handleable when you are trying to do anything with her so won't be the best patient.  She's never been a 100% healthy cat but she's always been a little fighter, just hope she's got the strength to get through whatever it is causing her to be ill  :'(

RIP - Cleo home but keeps fitting

I'm not sure whats wrong with her but she's not been eating on and off, she hasn't got a temp but did have the snuffles.  She's had 2 lots of Baytril and the weight has just dropped off her.  I'm going to take her back in tomorrow and see if I can get some tests done on her, I want to get a swab done and some bloods because there's obviously something going on.  The only concern I have is she's going to have to be sedated first because she is a little witch when she has to have anything done to her.  She did start to eat again last week and was wolfing pouches down but she's back to square one again now where she's meowing for food but just won't eat it when she's given it.  The vet tried to check her mouth as best as she could last week because a few times she's been chattering her teeth and this is a sign of discomfort but there wasn't anything obvious.  If I have her knocked out they will be able to get a proper look.  Fingers crossed they get to the bottom of it before she loses any more weight.
