I can't believe the Smudge monster has turned into such a cuddle monster.  That's wonderful.  Hope little Titchy will be ok.  Keep us posted.  How are the others?

Still not a lot of difference as far as her wobbling goes but other than that she's doing really well.  She's eating well and getting around no problem and still managing to take over my pillow at night  :evillaugh:  Smudge is now also a permanent fixture on the bed and she was actually lay on me last night  :Luv2:  I've over the moon with the differance in her the last few days although hubby has been whinging that they are taking over the bed and are being a little bit on the cheeky side  :evillaugh:  If there's no marked difference in her by Wednesday, I'll pop her back in for Sean to look at

She's still pretty much the same Chrissie but is steadily improving.  She's still eating really well and is managing to get around and always ends up snuggled up next to my pillow at night  :Luv2:  I also had Smudge snuggled up to me last night   She doesn't run away from me now and was purring away whilst I was fussing her.  When I woke this morning, she was still on the bed so she's accepted now she isn't going to get hurt and is learning to trust us  :Luv:

Titch is still very wobbly but in saying that, she managed to find the bed within minutes of getting home and has spent most of her time there  :Luv2:  She was cuddled up on my pillow last night, well had 99% of it and left me a tiny bit on the edge  :sneaky:  She's extremely happy to be home and spends most of the time purring away with her little feet tankling bless her  :Luv:  :Luv:

Sid is fine Chrissie, still a snot box but extremely loveable, I'm sure he'll find a home soon bless him  :Luv2:

I also managed to rope my friend into taking 2 kittens that Social Services phoned me about this morning, totally flea ridden, ill treated and tiny, she was worried about them getting hurt so I said I'd take them.  I then managed to persuade my friend as although I wouldn't see them getting hurt or ill treated, I am desperately trying to get my numbers down.  It seems I rehome one and get lumbered somewhere else along the line so all in all a good day  :naughty:

I've picked the little madam up and she is still quite wobbly but being extremely affectionate and very talkative  :Luv2:  She's had a full pouch of food since she came in and some biscuits so there's nothing wrong with her appetite  ;)  It may be a couple of weeks before there's any really improvement so I basically have to keep an eye on her.  Whilst in there, I managed to get a home for one of my cats  :naughty:  A lady came in to look at a stray but it turns out she's pregnant so she didn't want the hassle of kittens, I mentioned that I do rescue so she'll be having a cat off me next Friday as she's got builders in this week  :briggin:  I may end up with the pregnant one but hopefully someone else will be able to take her  :)

Not as yet Chrissie, I'll be phoning later when Seans done the ops.  If there's any change he will let me know anyway, hopefully with the medication he's got her on she'll be more stable on her feet by tomorrow.   I'll give you a bell when I get her home and from what he said, she should be home by weekend anyway

I've just got back in now and I've seen Titch  :Luv2:  She's so much better than she was but did fall over a couple of times whilst I was fussing her.  Sean is giving her daily injections and he said she can come home for the weekend  :)  He said she may end up having a head tilt but should improve enough to cope, but he still wants to keep an eye on her for a couple of days

poor little Titch. I just wondered if Vivitonin may help as from my own experience, the vets are getting quite good results with it now. Sounds like that's what CarolM had with Korky - they increase the blood to the brain. Combined with steroids? just a thought. I hope Titch is much better tomorrow. These brain problems can take quite a long time to improve but they can improve, so sending lots of positive vibes your way x

I've just spoken to Siobhan and Titch is still quite wobbly so she's not sure if she can come home tonight or not.  I will be going in later to see her as I've got to get Sally in anyway so I'll have a chat with Sean as he's on tonight.  She hasn't has any problems with her ears whatsoever, I always have them checked when I have them spayed as well.  Trevor said it's just something that can't be see and usually it's attacked the brain by the time you realise.  The good news is she still eating like a horse and she's having lots of fusses but does occasionally fall when they are fussing her.  I'll update later after I've seen her

Hope Titch is on the mend   I know how you are feeling.  We had a similar thing with Korky.  He had been having problems with his ear on and off all summer (long story with rubbish vet involved).  Then suddenly he couldn't walk without falling over.  Took him to another vet who gave him antibiotics and some tablets to increase blood flow to his brain (he couldn't have steroids because of his kidneys).  The first week he had bad days and not so bad days.  The second week he had good days and not so good days and by the third week it was just the occasional wobble if he shook his head.  The good news is he seems fine now (week 4).  So don't despair if progress is slow.

It sounds like she's improved slightly but I won't know until I speak to Sean, I only spoke to the receptionists and she said there was still signs so I presume that means she's still quite wobbly.  If she is I prefer for her to stay in until she improves but I'll see what Sean thinks.
