Poor little girl. Glad she is getting better

Is she rubbing at them a lot?

No rubbing, I still haven't got a clue what has caused it.  The third eye lid completely covered her eye and it was redder than in the pic, there was also a lot of swelling which has now subsided.  Thankfully it looks as if it's going to be okay  :)

Cleo's eye is a lot better today, still sore but at least you can see some of her eye now  :)  I've put a couple of pics on that were taken this morning, it looks bad on there but it was a lot worse

It still looks pretty awful, the third eyelid virtually covers the eye and was bright red   It doesn't look as inflamed now so it seems to be settling........if it's not one thing with them, it's another  :sneaky:

Ooops, meant to update  :-[  I took Cleo back in yesterday for Sean to check her, he is loathed to put her under just in case so he's given her another anti inflammatory jab, and she's got some eye cream which has got to be used an hour after using the drops as he feels she needed something stronger, one has a steroid and the other doesn't.  The swelling has gone down slightly and the eye ball is fine, I think it's more than likely she has had a whack off Smudge  :sneaky:  If it starts getting worse again, I've got to phone him  :tired:

Well her eye has gone down slightly, but I only managed to get it open about 9.30 as she had it shut so I couldn't see what was going on  :sneaky:  I'm just waiting to hear back from Sean about what he wants me to do with her  :scared:

Hoping very much that Cleo's eye is improving this morning. Poor girl. Paws crossed that she doesn't have to be sedated again in view of her past history.

Dawn I do hope Cleo's eye has improved and that she doesn't need to go back for a sedative.  It must be really uncomfortable for her and worrying for you.

Had to take Cleo to the vets today to see Uncle Sean.  I came back from Sheffield last night and all her eye was swollen and both eyes closed  :-:  She isn't the best cat to deal with in a crisis, she always reminds me of little Bob as she will rip me to shreds when trying to do anything with her  :sneaky:  My eldest and I managed to bathe her eye but did get a couple of injuries ourselves but this morning it was even worse.  I took her to the vets and Sean said he wasn't sure if she'd had a whack in it or it was a severe case of Conjunctivitus.  He gave her a couple of jabs and she's got drops to go in it as well, and we both got scratched in the process  :evillaugh:    Her third eyelid was completely covering her right eye, is bright red and looks horrible.  She seems a lot better since her visit although the third eyelid is really inflamed, the swelling appears to have gone down slightly.  She may have to go back in in the morning, to be sedated and have it looked at if it's still really bad.  I'm a little worried as she had a really bad reaction to the anaesthetic when she was spayed  :scared:  She started fitting and had to be rushed to the other surgery as the vet that was on at the time was panicking like mad        She was quite poorly afterwards as well so hopefully she won't have to go in.
