Rosella, I shed a tear with you today.

Every time Kuki comes to me for a cuddle I'm reminded of Millie.

Millie left this world, loved and cherished, around the same time Kuki arrived on this blessed planet, abandoned and forsaken

By the grace of the Gods, Kuki found her way to me and the Purrs family, and for that I am supremely grateful

The circle of life spins on, Rosella, and I do believe Millie's Zen is here in Kuki, alive and well and happy.

Almost 6 months now my main baby gal. Your sis has grown up a wee bit in your absence and continues to do stuff you used to do which is a lovely reminder.

I still cry a great deal but am grateful I remember the look and feel of you so well as I thought I might forget.

I know you've gone forever but so ache for you at times. Thank heavens for who we still have though eh kid?

Have been allowing thoughts of you to come to the fore a bit more of late kid. Daren't do it before. You would have been 5 years old on 15 November but Ruby will celebrate without you here.

I miss ya kid although Ruby does her best to keep memories of you alive. Sometimes I catch sight of Ruby from a certain angle and have to blink hard. She has started lying her front paws along the kitchen radiator which is nice but she makes sure there is something between her paws and radiator so we don't worry about her burning herself

I did however find myself squeezing her front paws in the dark last night and all I could think of was that she wasn't you as she has more toes.

Anyway, I miss ya kid and wish so much that you were here. RIP baby

It's weird but I suppose we have always considered Millie and Ruby as two sides of same coin and Ruby being here is just helping us think our darling angel Millie is still here too. We keep calling Ruby ... Millie

She doesn't seem to mind and responds to all hugs/strokes/kisses in best Ruby/Millie fashion and there we are ...... for now.

Monsta Millie Moo is basically still here. I know it's mad but she is ......... until we let go I guess.

I remember you and your sister arriving on Purrs as kittens and life is so unfair.
