Leo is now home.. He has collar on and is on loads of meds.. He also has a sore eye that i noticed when i took him in on Wed. Turns out he has ulcerated it and therefore needs eyedrops as well.. But he is now in my kitten pen in the hallway. With blankets and fire on to keep him wwarm.. Has not really eaten much but that is to be expected and has just given himself a good wash...He needs to go back on Monday to check stitches and dressing (and his eye).. But seems comfortable.. I am not sure i could trust him not to jump on the back of the sofa so i hope he will be okay in the pen.. I expect he needs another day to get over the operation drugs..  I have cooked him some fish for tonight...

But at least he was home..
The bill was 630 quid which i thought was very reasonable.. Considering the meds he is on.. and the xrays.. done on Weds.. Keep sending those vibes though.. I hope he eats more tomorrow, but i assume he has been on fluids for the last 2 days so that generally keeps them full until it wears off.

I am glad he has got through the op OK, it is amazing how quickly they bounce back, and Pebbles could still outrun me on 3 legs!! Did they say what kind of tumour, as I know when Tiger had suspected cancer in her knee, they said that kind of cancer was a very slow growing one that didn't tend to spread very quickly, so amputation was a cure, so hopefully Leo's is similar and this will cure him.
Please spay your cat

i phones again earlier and he is doing okay.. will be given some food around 6ish.. And i will be ringing again noon tomorrow.. so see if he can be let to go home. But i would rather he is comfortable before that and not rush as it will be weekend sd my own vet only has Sat Am surgey and not open on Sundays. I told them to take care of my precious puss.
