Title: Haggis of Ardoch
Post by: Liz on November 16, 2006, 12:45:58 PM
On the 18th of September 2006 it was four years ago since we lost our first ginger boy Haggis (his previous owners 3y.o named him)

Haggis really was everybodies friend wether it feral, domestic, human or dog he just loved life. We were his proud owners for 2 years and 3 months till the day he played with a car and lost - in the same place as his Bridge brother Toerag.

Haggis was almost blonde ginger in colour and in his life he gave us pleasure and companionship and in his death he gave us a very big gaping hole.

We did however feel that the "ginger" element of the family was missing and ended up with a long haired ginger - Phoenix who has a heart murmer and was only given 6 months - he's now 4 and bailey a short haired ginger and white both were born the day my baby died so fitting that his tragic death gave us hope in kitten form.

So my darling boy your life cut short but forever a pawprint in our heart

Currently residing on the shelf in our bedroom with Toerag, Moose and Holly till we get the garden sorted out.

Yes all the Bridge kids moved to we are afterall a family and all came to the new house.

Well darling ginger ninja Haggis it will be 5 years on the 18 September since you played with a car and lost and and left a gaping hole in our lives and that of you brothers and sisters especially the ferals who adored you.

You have since joining your big brother Toerag got more of the Clan for Company - Moose, Hissy Holly, Breeze and Bert

I know this is in advance but I will be in Ireland and Daddy will be minding the Clan Cats, Jazz and baby Sky so whilst I have a moment to reflect and say you are sorely missed, always loved and remembered with laughter and not so many tears now

You have been at the bridge for longer than we had the privilage of being your slaves but you ginger ninja traits live on in Bailey and Phoenix who were born to a feral Mum the day you left and came to join our family as devoted ninja's

So on your special day send us a sign just to let us know you are okay

Love

Mummy, Daddy, Sweetie, Tiger, and the rest of the Clan Cats and Jazz and baby Sky :Luv: :'(

Thought this boy should have some pictures added - he was our first ginger ninja and left a legacy of friendship and a whole lot of tears when he left but is thought of every day

Well my darling boy another year has passed and Daddy and I talked about you today still loved and missed every day

I think you had a ginger ninja guiding paw in bringing our latest feral boy Kegan (means firey in Celtic) to us just in time in a bit of a bad way but snipped and chipped and will be loved for who he is

So my darling first ginger ninja hope you are having a wonderful life at the Bridge with the other Clan cats xx
