Glad to hear George is doing OK at the moment, what a mammoth thread   Maybe your vet could try speaking to Iain at Vet UK, they are very helpful and might be able to order some of this special insulin in for George so that you can get it quicker.  Their preferred contact is by email but I have always had a response within 24 hours...

From the website:

"If you have a question about prescription only items that cannot be answered after looking on the POM home page, or you would like a price for a POM you use but cannot find on the site, please email us selecting "prescriptions" from the dropdown menu box below: or click here prescriptions@vetuk.co.uk "

Almost forgot, Tiggy sends a healing head kiss George's way  :Luv:

Apparently there is a vet in Milton Keynes who is an expert on feline diabetes.

Sorry to hear this - hope they can come up with a good plan for George.  Has the vet said not to give George any food until Monday or have I misunderstood?

Lyn, I took in a foster once that sneezed while we were in the vet, so they immediately thought she must have cat flu - but didnt' sneeze once after we left there, so I wonder if there is something in the waiting room that is causing it?

Poor George, he's really having a difficult time of it.

Do you think the sneezing might be stress related, rather than an allergy?

Best of luck George  ;D

I bet his highs and lows are linked to when he gets his insulin.

The poor boy. It sounds like they are doing a 24hour glucose curve which should tell them a lot more information about what is going on and help to stabilise him. I`ve got my fingers crossed for him.
