I have 3 cats who don't get on and envy people who have harmonious cats, the one I've had longest is Daisy who is 8 and lives downstairs and hates other cats she is constsantly guarding her territory. I rescued Phoenix 3 years ago and she is the most nervous, timid cat I've ever known and lives in my spare bedroom, she has attempted to come down on occasions but Daisy just chases her back up again. I also have Whisper who is 13 and rescued and lives in my bedroom she's content enough there and never attempts to come down, but it's poor Phoenix who seems to be stuck in the middle.

I have 4 and they moreorless suffer each other!

Have you tried bringing Pheonix down under your care and stopping Daisy getting to her?

It could be that doing this regularily for short times MIGHT help them to live together, not as friends but just tolleration.

Hi Gill,

I've tried this but Phoenix is so terrified all the time ( I have no idea of her history) and Daisy is such a bully she plays on this
