I've been asked by a friend in the cat fancy to help look for an urgent placement for Billy. He is currently located near March in Cambridgeshire and will be put to sleep if nothing can be found for him.
I have referred the ladies in question to our branch of CP (Ely & District) as it is only just outside our catchment area, but I'm also putting this plea here on Purrs to widen the coverage.
If anyone thinks they may be able to help, please PM me and I'll pass on the contact details.

I have had Billy a two year old black and white neutered male cat in my
boarding cattery since the 20th December due to his owner being in
hospital. His costs are currently being met by social services mental
health dept. Unfortunately the money has run out and social services
have booked him to be put to sleep on Thursday morning.
Sadly Billy is not house trained but he will use newspaper to tiddle on,
but he chooses to poo in the outside run.
He can be aggressive and gets very distressed when he see's a mop. He
hates being picked up but will purr and rub round legs when fed.
The Plea !!!!!
Does any one know of a farm where Billy can roam, keep down the vermin,
be fed and have a barn to sleep in. The prefered areas are
Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire or Hertfordshire.
I would be able to deliver him.

Have you tried Ingleside cat shelter - 01775 822223- ask for Rosemary Eldridge - they may be able to help .Thats in Lincolnshire

Try Rhodes Minnis in kent (sorry you need to find the number via catchat) they have an outside feral/unhomable encloser that they could maybe take a puss cat like this.. Or even Foal Farm in Biggin Hill... The likehood of a farm being found that quickly is remote i reckon and not easy for CP branch either... Your best bet is a rescue with a large enclosurer for puss cats deemed to live an outside life... Rhodes Minnis outfit is very nice..

I do know that sometimes FoalFarm release cats to live on the farm....so might be worth a try
