Pepa was sent to a new home at six weeks after her Mum left her kittens and someone handreared the litter. She's a lovely girl around adults, but appears to not like very young children much. (She will literally catch the toddlers face with her front paws, claws out and try and bite him. This has happened on more than one occasion despite water spraying, face blowing and shouted commands....)
As mentioned previously though, she's a delight with the adults in the house and curls up happily on knees fora cuddle. If you can offer this girla home, please get in touch with me.

What a gorgeous little face she has, don't think she'll be waiting long :Luv:
-
You're right. A neighbour of the lady who contacted me was talking to her and said she'd happily take on Pepa. She has three cats already and they are apparently her "babies" so I'm hoping Pepa will have a wonderful forever home now.
-
:) Fingers crossed all goes well xx
-
Urgh. Why do people claim to know about cats then not do things a way that would make a cat comfortable? Just had a call - Pepa was returned to the lady after one night due to the womans cats not taking to her. It's not rocket science they wouldn't immediately welcome a hyper bundle of fluff. (I'm so glad we persevered with our own little terror and our three girls.)
So if anyone knows of a safe, loving forever home please get in touch. I will be requesting a vet reference to be on the safe side. (No offence to any potential homes.)

She is Simply :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
I love the 2nd photo
' NO I am not moving, this is MY space' *Sulk Sulk*
she's just :wow: xxx

She really is lovely, Gail. :) Please ask around - I can always try and organise a transport chain if necessary. Stipulating again though - it IS urgent and a vet reference would be required.
-
Aw what a gorgeous little girl! :Luv2:
Positive vibes for her to be in her forever home soon!

I hope so too BM. Her owner called me four times yesterday until I gave up and turned my phone off. She then sent me a message asking if I'd found anywhere. Do you think someone ought to tell her that (a) I'm not an official rescue and (b) with the Cats Protection alone approximately 60,000 cats need to have homes found for them?
I nearly caved and brought her here before realising how stupid that would be with an unneutered Darwin wandering about.....

hi. would it be any help if we took this little sweetie, even on a temporary basis? do you know where she is in derbyshire as thats where we live. would love to help and get her away from there. let me know if i can help. we have a spare room that i can set up for her, bramble
-
bramble, would the offer be permanent? The poor little thing's had three homes in as many months. If possible I'd really like this home to be the one she gets to stay in.
Also, would you be prepared to give vet contact info so a check could be done?
-
hi, yes this would be a permanant home for her. you can coctact our vet and any rescue organisations that know me. of course our vet is closed till monday! if you need someone immediately i can take her ASAP. let me know and i will give you the numbers for a reference. bramble

Would a vet really know if someone is ok as afterall only animals in reasonable condition would be taken there, not any being neglected so a vet ref alongside a HC would be safer :shy:
-
i do see your point! wouldnt object to a homecheck at all! we have 4 rescue dogs and 4 rescue cats. our vets know how well our animals are looked after and have known us for a good few years! the rescue where our cats were from could also vouch for us. we are open to any scrutiny!
-
we are open to any scrutiny!
Thats the right attitude! Hope this goes well for you!

bramble - will find out if Derby CP could organise a home check. Could you send me an address and vet contact number? It would be wonderful if this worked out. :)
(It IS Derby that a home check's needed in, isn't it.....?)
-
it
s alfreton, near derby. dont know how to send PM to send you our address. can you send me your e mail address so i can mail you our details? dawnbramley08@tiscali.co.uk
-
Course I can. ;) But for future reference to send a PM, click on a users name, and it takes you to a profile page. On the left it gives you the option to send a private message. :)
-
bramble, thank you for the offer. Again it didn't occur to tell me that a home had been found apparently....hopefully this one will be a permanent one.
-
Cool I hope its her home for life now :)
-
Me too!

Agreed. Three homes in as many months is quite enough, in my opinion.
