What a heartless attitude. Polyps, if caught in time are completely operable.

Good luck with them all. As I said earlier, hope you get some GOOD calls today, not just people offloading their cats on you. (How they can do that is beyond me.)

I wish I had more room to help you Ela I really do.

People  that dint get their cat/dog neutered/spayed make me so angry. As if there aren't enough poor little fur babies without homes. I could have made a fortune out of my 3 Labradors but the day they were old enough they have all had the chop. The same with all my cats, if they have come to me UN neutered they are next week booked in for the chop

Ela I know its very hard and frustrating for you but where would all these babies be without the love, help and kindness shown by all you lovely rescue people

Apart from the two 'Golden Oldies' that are being dealt with by another branch all the others are coming in today so they will all be fine. Re the 6 year old it  was also considered to be needing to be PTS as it has Polyps in its ears. Jill one of the fosterers had a word with the father of the person who contacted me and he said well you are wasting your money you should spend it on something else.  >:( again. Good job I don't need his approval for how I spend our branches money.

Oh! yes those type of indoor cats, I know that kind very well. We also get a lot of indoor cats that only go into the garden when the owner is in the garden.

We have no room  and a list of cats waiting to come in BUT, the 2 x 18 yr old are really in an area that was covered by us but another branch took over as it is nearer to them ,so I have refereed them to that branch, but as always I said if they wouldn't he please get back to me.

The 6 year old will be taken in by us today, along with a very old cat (and a he who must be obeyed cat at that) who belongs to  an old gentleman who is in hospital and not expected to come out. (I forgot to post about that one). Oh and I forgot we are taking in 2 kittens as well today.

The mum cat and kittens and the Pregnant cat will be taken in today also.

Sounds like a nightmare start to the day  :Crazy:  I had a phone call from a lady yesterday, her neighbour is moving tomorrow and he has 3 ginger cats and he's got nowhere for them to go as he can't take them with him.  They are all unneutered, supposedly indoor cats but by indoor, he means they don't go outside as they live in an outhouse   :-:  I've got to go down later and see what the script is, I've got them booked in for neutering but still need to sort something out for them  :censored:

Within  30 mins I have had calls to bring in 2 x 18 yr olds, 1 pregnant cat and 1 cat with 1 kitten who must come in today, The owner was under the impression that cats must have one set of kittens before the can be spayed.   :sigh: and a 6 year old cat who  will be PTS if we don't take in. Very  >:(. I know some people say they won't do it, but you cannot take the risk and there is one vet in our town who would and they are nearest to where the cat is. I feel like chopping my head off  ;D but that won't help the cats will it?
