Lace dairy and appeal
« Reply #1 on: October 17, 2008, 12:44:17 PM »
Lace is a two year old Black smoke Maine Coon. in the care of the Ukrcc due to serve neglect she has been very ill , the other day she was operated on and had all but 4 of her teeth removed due to advanced periodontal disease, which had led to infection in her gums, mucous membranes and jaw bone.
The Vet explained that while typically he would remove a few teeth at a time, in Lace’ case he must remove them all. He warned us that the problem was serious and if Lace did not respond to the dentistry, then she would have to be put to sleep. This was her last chance....
Lace is doing very well after her op but will need more treatment to be able to live a pain free life.
the dental alone was over £650.00 and that is without all the other treatment she has received.
To read her dairy and to donate to help her please follow these links and help us to help her.
thank you
