I believe I raised the subject of Romanian dogs and a British charity's efforts to save them a while back. Here is a related story... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/romania/7740947/Brigitte-Bardot-in-protest-over-Bucharest-dog-cull.html

i am adopting a street dog from romania through disabled dog rescue - hopefully he will be here in the next 2 weeks after having had to wait months for him to finish his quarantine period in a foster home there. he has a paralysed back end but copes wonderfully and he will have wheels for big walk :)
it is heartbreaking to think of what rescues must deal with in romania, it is bad enough in the UK :(

Do you have any pics of him Faye, such a sad story but sounds like he makes the best of life with his wheels :)
