I've amended the title to the original post. As when people reply they will always get that in the title.

Thanks Ruth

She made it onto the July Catchat "Roll of honour" - I have added the pic. The other regret is that I didn't get a new photo without her lampshade.

"BEAUTY (pictured) and MOZARD, JESS, DAN and LOTS of KITTENS - Just to let you know that Beauty was rehomed over the weekend to some people who saw her on Catchat. We have no idea why such a lovely unusual colour cat took so long to be rehomed, but perhaps she was waiting for the right people to come along. We also successfully rehomed, Mozard, Jess and Dan along with just about all of our other 18 kittens through email enquiries via Cat Chat! Thanks for all your help and again a great website that had helped rehomed so many cats this year, CANTERBURY CATS PROTECTION (July 2007)"

Beauty was the sweetheart on the rehoming thread fairly recently, wasn't she? (Not that they aren't ALL sweethearts!)

RIP, Little One. At least you got to know love and trust for a short time.

My stomach dropped when I saw the email from Sharon just now. I know I only saw beauty briefly but I fell in love with her and would have kept her in different circumstances. Beauty was in a RTA yesterday. Poor baby. RIP

I added this to the previous thread about this gorgeous baby.   :'(

She had been rehomed only a few weeks ago.

I so wish I had kept her now.

Hi all
Beauty is a little darling and such a lovely colour, i have no idea why she is still with us,she is hardly 17 months old herself... I thought i had found a lovely home but they had a very noisy 2yrs and after talking to them they decided it possibly wasnt fair to take her on...

I am trying my darnest to get her into a indoor fosterer in the next few days for some one to one but everytime we are on the verge of doing that an emergency or kittens comes along... Its a nightmare, we have so many kittens in our care and now an FIV puss as well..

I forget to ask you Mark to do another photo of Beauty but never mind will do that when she moves on to the indoor person...

Homing has generally gone very quiet though, all the kitten phone calls have dried up.........

Thanks Mark though your a star!
Cannot save the world, but if everyone does something we can have a jolly good job trying too....

That's exactly what I thought CC  ;D
She is a lovely dainty little cat and so friendly. She only meowed a couple of times in the car and in the waiting room when she saw another cat. It was hard for me to take her back and I am racking my brain to see a way to keep her but I don't think it's possible  :(
She was so well behaved in the vets and didn't even flinch when she had he jabs or Stronghold  ;D

I don't know if anyone remembers a few weeks ago when I went to the CP open day and there was a cat washing another cat and then loads of kittens? - it was Beauty  ;D - apparently it was her mum she was washing + all her kittens + all her mum's kittens - she is just :Luv:

I want her to be my new cat. Sharn at the cattery said that after raising 2 sets of kittens and being so lovely, she wants to make sure she gets a special home. She said one couple came with a little girl but the girl was too rough with her so they were told NO!  :evillaugh:

I know you are right Ela. I will just have to tell myself that there is no point taking her "out of the frying pan into the fire" She is probably quite happy at the cattery whereas Willow would bully her here. Willow has started bullying Clapton more over the last couple of weeks. I think she has sensed that he is feeling a lot better and more able to take it  :tired:

taking Beauty to the vet today and sure I will fall in love

Sad as it is you will have to be hard and brace yourself. As you know taking in another little one will quite possibly increase the problems you already have.

They will always be another Beauty when the time is right.

Sharon has had beauty since February and amazingly, this gorgeous girl still hasn't been taken. If Willow wasn't such a brat, I really would offer her a home. I am taking Beauty to the vet today and sure I will fall in love. It would be great having 2 black ones & 2 black & white  ;D
